It's so weird to me that someone can love Uncharted 2 to the point of calling it one of the best games out there, and then call Uncharted 3 bad, mediocre, shit, etc. Go figure.
Drake's Fortune is also a very good game even today.
Regarding the multiplayer, I've never played the Uncharted games for its multiplayer, in fact I finished Uncharted 3 like 5 times and never touched that mode.
I'll be buying this no doubt!

All those upgrades is gonna be sweet. No mp though, not as sweet aside from U4 MP. Weirdly enough, Sully's voice in the trailer makes it sound like Nate died.

Perhaps the Uncharted 2 and Uncharted 3 multiplayer can't be included in the Nathan Drake Collection because of the storage and they would've put the Nathan Drake Collection into two discs (one with single player and one with multiplayer) and maybe Bluepoint and Naughty Dog can't create Uncharted 1 maps into the multiplayer mode because of time and waste of money.

If anyone wants a sneak peek at what 60fps Uncharted would look like, Eurogamer did an article on it a couple of years back. Might be good to add to the OP until official media gets released.

Eh. It's fine, but the colours clash pretty poorly with the PS4 blue, and it's quite bloated with text. Is the text at the bottom really necessary? It feels like the kind of stuff you put on the back.

But that wont be easy for everyone like buying this collection and also they get to play 3 full good games in addition to play UC4 beta. There are many people who moved from XBox360 and Wii so they get to play those games in 1080p/60fps now for $60.
Probably 2 discs. I know Uncharted 1 & 2 were like 20 gigs each. So they could fit on 1. And 3 on the other.
Or maybe, removing the multiplayer from 2 & 3 + some compression allows all three to fit on one disc.
I'm curious how they're going to handle the first game though, if any upgrades to the texture work will be done or just straight up porting. It will really stand out from 2 & 3.

Delighted with this.
As someone who never played the previous Uncharted games but was blown away by and drawn to future works of Naughty Dog by The Last of us, a chance to play the Uncharted series from the beginning on PS4 before Uncharted 4 releases is really welcome.
A worthwhile remaster.

No multiplayer absolutely stinks and just makes this collection incomplete. Will not buy at full price and potentially used if I can find it cheaper.
I couldn't care less for a beta this time around. I doubt I'd even be able to play during the testing period as is.
Despite its problems, Master Chief Collection still is the authentic "collection". Uncharted 2 and 3 without their multiplayer and coop is like half the game to me personally.

No multiplayer seems like a good idea, if only to avoid technical issues that plagued MCC.
I've only played Golden Abyss (which I like, and if I do get a PS4 I'll pick this up) so I have no real perception on what the MP is like anyhow. It would more than likely be dead once 4 is out since I'm not sure the MP was as well remembered as Halo.

Playing UC2 for the first time all the way through in 1080p 60fps?
Uncharted 1 was a mediocre third-person shooter when it released. It was a year post-Gears and not even close to as competent with its shooting mechanics.
The things that differentiated it were an increased emphasis on cinematic presentation and some pretty basic environmental traversal gameplay, neither of which are anything special in 2015.
Awesome! I didn't get a PS3 until very recently so I haven't played any of the games in the series. I loved TLoU: R so I'll definitely get this.
It'll be the third series I go through thoroughly in a year. I played the shit out of the DMC HD collection (even DMC2) late last year, I'm currently going through the MGS collection (although, finishing all the MGS 2 trophies is taking so freaking long), and I'll go through the Nathan Drake Collection later this year.
The good thing about not playing every game that comes out is that there'll always be tons of games to choose from when you don't have anything new to play.
