Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection announced, October 9th, UC4 MP beta access

As a 360 only owner last gen this will help me transition into a ps4 only owner this gen! All that is missing now is for the price to drop below 3000sek in Sweden.

No MP except for the UC 4 Beta MP? I mean why? I love TLOU:R not only because of the SP but because I can still play it every day if I wanted thanks to the MP. I am not buying on release a remastered collection if I can see it used for $20 a month after release because people will trow it away as soon as they finish the story of each game.

$59.99 in the US.
$74.99 in Canada.
No idea about Mexico.

60 dollars for 3 remastered games of one of the biggest past gen franchises, I believe its a fair price. May not be worth for everyone, since many already finished the franchise and it lacks MP, but I don't think its a bad price.

Well, I'll think about getting it physical some time later. But the lack of MP still hurts. =´(

Happily pre-ordered the US PSN version, I already had just over $10 sitting in the wallet so it was quite a bit cheaper than the £49.99 on the UK store.

Ya. Not having MP is making me rethink getting this. Don't get me wrong I love Uncharted but the MP is the only reason I still play any of them after beating them so many times. That's fucken weak sauce. Oh well.

Oh shit. I will probably get it just for the beta.

i really liked what they did with MGS collection and Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Collection looking forward to playing.

Im curious what they are going to add/change:

That means not only allowing you to play the single-player campaigns of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception in 1080p and 60fps with better lighting, textures, and models, but they’re also working on a range of improvements and additions across all three games.

We put together the list of these improvements and additions based on countless forum posts, messages, Tweets, and even through personal conversations we’ve had with a number of you over the years. More on these specifics in future updates.

Kind of a real bummer multiplayer isn't in at least one of the games. I loved the multiplayer and would like to get in some more. Will still probably pick it up, though.

God this is depressing :(

http://www.torontosun.com/2015/06/03/4-in-10-jobless-have-given-up-survey

Statistics Canada found that 6.8% of the Canadian workforce was unemployed in April. That amounts to 1.3 million without work.

off-topic, but yeah..

i remember in 2008 when i was literally the only person who came into an ebgames store and bought valkyria chronicles for 70 bucks. the person was like, "oh you're the only person who have bought that game.." and it's a store inside a mall at the heart of downtown in a big city.

it's getting harder to do our hobbies just because games are so freaking expensive here. i guess everything became expensive, but our salaries did not increase by the same amount. sigh.

I'll be honest here. I was really looking forward to Uncharted 3's split-screen multiplayer as it was one of the few PS3 games I could play with my bro, so this news is kind of deflating. Hoping Uncharted 4 will take advantage of PS4's Share Play feature and incorporate split-screen multiplayer in some way.

I like the sounds of them making improvements outside of cosmetics. Maybe I'll play through the trilogy again, but only if I hear they improved the gunplay.

Cool cool.

Glad it's Bluepoint.

Real bummer about the MP though. I really liked UC2's co-op and would have loved to run through it again on the collection.

I'll definitely pick this up. Not a fan of the first one, but 2 alone will warrant a purchase.

Lack of multiplayer is a real shame, though. And no, a limited time beta does not make up for that.

With that said, I still can't believe that Sony is doing the exact same title as Microsoft did for the Halo collection last year.

Wonder if they changed UC1 up significantly. Loved the game back in 2007, but it'd be sick if they made it play as well as the other 2.

Not at all. Gears will have multiplayer and to a lot of gamers, that is the focus of the series. MCC continues to be the best bargain for your buck, as far as remasters go

Really? Hasn't the multiplayer on MCC been basically broken since release?

Very good, they are the ones you want to handle remasters.

That's good to know because when I first read they were the developer, I was like "who?" and turned off but after reading the first page here and your response, im no longer concerned about who's developing the collection.

Really wish they would have thrown in the Vita game as well and an Uncharted 4 playable demo but with the story parts edited out instead of multi-player. Oh well.

The millions and millions of folks who went from 360 to PS4 and have never played a UC game before? They would have no idea if they wanted UC4 or not.

I was going to post this a couple of minutes before your posted., but then I thought, wait, they're buying the collection to see if they like Uncharted so they can buy UC4. They're not buying to access the multplayer beta, if they like the games and the beta, they'll be buying UC4 anyways. So they had planned on getting UC4 if they liked the collection anyways, it's not an "additional $60" as they knew beforehand what they were getting into.
