I do find people that were angry about DS2 being related to DS1 somewhat confusing in what they want. I mean of course there will be connections! Not a point a can agree with people put maybe since the looks are completely different from previous Dark Souls they can stop seeing Anor Londo in a puddle of water or their butter toast or their toilet water. People could look at white paper under a lens and say it looks like Anor Londo, pretty annoying folk.

Havent read the whole thread, this will be crazy if they got these leaks somehow.. But this picture looks shopped... and a bad one at that.
Look at the bottom left, there is some opacity going on with that tree and the wall. Then the entire bottom of the picture looks like it was cut and pasted (horribly) from something completely different.
The other images look much more real though. But this just stands out as odd to me.
Again, not sure what to believe at this point. After Rayman, nothing is impossible to fake.

Yes, this does look like Central Yharnam, but Central Yharnam is pretty much Anor London.
I would like to see Miyazki write the lore for this at least. I would also like to see them drop the whole cycles bullshit from Dark Souls II. Really uncreative. If we just go another place that use to be Lordran I'm gonna be so disappointed.
What I want to see is it being set in one of the lands mentioned in Dark Souls. Balder, Astora, Catarina and loads of other places.

I may be in the few but I would be dissapointed if DS3 isn't connected withh DS1 and 2 lore-wise at some point. Especially 2 since Aldia.

I´m confused. I really am. No way in hell this is a Bloodborne DLC though. Melting sun pic is very evocative of one certain part in Berserk.

Demon's Souls - 2009 (February)
Dark Souls - 2011 (October)
Dark Souls II - 2014 (March)
Bloodborne - 2015 (March)
Dark Souls III - 2016 (October-November Is my guess)
That seems reasonable to me. The only thing that makes it seem like milking, maybe, is because of Bloodborne and the remaster of DSII, but Bloodborne was a game made at the request of Sony, and is a new IP, no matter how much of the Souls DNA is in it. 2.5/3 years between releases is perfectly reasonable as far as I'm concerned

I still dont know what to believe though. Why would these guys, out of everyone, get the leaks?
Let's see it taking place in wherever Gwynevere went to (some people believe it's Lindelt, IIRC? Not very versed in Dark II lore, since I didn't find it nearly as interesting as Dark I and Bloodborne), I think it would be a nice tie to Dark Souls 1 without recycling the story.

Great News, seems totally legit, maybe not as crazy as the Project Beast leak but DS3 and Bloodborne DLC is more than welcome. Also I hope it's more in the vein of DS1, some animations and the sound design felt simply wrong in DS2 imo.
I once compared Skyrim to be Amon Amarth while Dark Souls being Mayhems DMDS (prefer the latter) - Would be the perfect soundtrack.
