This is one of my favorite rhythm games of all time. It's so beautiful and satisfying to play on my phone.
I'm glad PSM died before this came out so it wouldn't have been put on that like Cytus.

Wow, never heard about this game before, looks like it was for mobiles before.
Youtube'd some songs from this game - sounds and looks good. Will definitely buy if it comes to Europe.

I love this game, although I haven't played it awhile, but I kinda forgot this was coming to the vita. What are the chances that we will get this version?

In the trailer it says Deemo 2.0. Is that a sequel or just a substantial new update?

Edit:

According to the game's wikia page the 2.0 update was released on the 27th
Updated to version 2.0, which adds over 110 songs, 10 free songs, a newly designed song selection scene, more rooms, memories, and stories.
Just checked the play store and it's a 0.99GB download. So now we have a total of ~120 songs apparently, which is awesome.

Badass! Deemo was one of my favorite mobile game surprises, so much fun. One of those rare rhythm games that really conveys the "feel" of playing music,

What's the probability of the vita version coming over? (to EU as well)
The developers have mentioned that the Japanese version will have multiple text languages (English included), so it's very likely. Wish I could find the link.

DEEMO the highly popular game created by Rayark has created multiple hits in the mobile game industry. Such game is recreated on PlayStation®Vita as “DEEMO~The Last Recital~” and will be released on June 24, 2015!

This hit title was produced by a team that especially loves music games. The original game DEEMO was already released and has become a hit on the smart phone platform. The PS Vita version will contain elements such as unrevealed storylines, newly remade animation scenes and additional scenes, voice features from voice actor Ayana Taketatsu who did the lines for the girl protagonist, and songs that are only included in the PS Vita version. These new contents will also be very appealing for those who have already played Deemo before.

Nice! I didn't really like Cytus and dismissed this one as not very good as well. That trailer sold me though, looks great!

This looks so cool, Cytus was great on Vita&mobile.
Can anyone clarify if this is also touch based?
I would looooooooooooooooooove a good button controlled rhythm game..

This is why I haven't bought any music packs in the iOS version... This may well be a better version for better value as well.

Can anyone clarify if this is also touch based?

I can confidently say that it is not possible to play this game without touch. Just look at it.

So do these Rayark games usually have all the same songs and content for every region, or have they swapped some tracks? I'm wondering whether to buy the Asian version or wait for a European release.

AFAIK they're consistent across regions.

Touch based.

Rayark games typically source from people from the music game composer community, rather than e.g. pop stars(/who are signed to labels) that have something stuck up their ass w.r.t how important they are in the grand scheme of things, so the music generally isn't wingclipped to being available in certain regions.

tl;dr Rayark games usually do have all the same songs and content for every region. That's not a guarantee it'll always be like that though. Business changes.
