If you have netflix, start watching Ancient Aliens and prepare yourself for a good time.
Some whacko dude on History Channel, had a show called Ancient Aliens and basically implied without stating it directly that aliens visited us in the past and were responsible for a lot of the accomplishments of the human race.
The Gears one is pretty easy. That was Ryan O'Donnell on The 1up Show, making a hyperbolic comment about how great Gears of War 2 was. That's about it.
The full quote was "The one thing I don't like about Gears of War 2 is that it's almost too good.".
