No. Not at all. You can still back via paypal for awhile (I think they said until the end of the month?) and get that bonus content as long as you're backing at a non-limited quantity tier.

Just backed for the $60 physical copy tier. This is also the first Kickstarter that I've backed, though there are a couple others that I would also back the hell out of if they ever happened, like Zero Escape 3 (though might not be necessary based on Uchikoshi's hints) or a Silent Hills spiritual "successor" headed by Kojima and Del Toro.

Also retweeted to help us get that costume even though I probably won't use it very much because I prefer her original design.

I don't mind so-called "backer exclusive" content as long as other people get a chance to buy it later as DLC. So if you didn't back the game you can still get the special backer stuff, you just have to fork over an additional 5 dollars.

Again, not only is this DIGITAL content locked away from nonbackers. It's locked away from $28 backers as well. I haven't backed yet because of this.

I think I'll be wanting this on both PS4/Vita, so I asked if I got the tier with the backer content for PS4, then added on the tier for just the digital version for Vita, would the vita version be able to use the backer content for the PS4 version?

I know the answer is no for other platforms, but since PS4/Vita share the same network and some content is sorta universally usable, I was wondering if this was the same?

I did ask previously whether cross buy would be supported for PS4/Vita, but the answer was no for that if anyone was wondering.

There could be a physical release, but this seems like the type of game that would mainly focus on digital storefronts these days. The fact that the most hardcore fans may already have a physical copy of the game through the kickstarter won't help that cause either. I could see a very limited run that would be really hard to get a hold of though. If I really wanted a physical copy of this game I'd probably jump in on the kickstarter.

Physical release was always in the cards, it just wouldn't have the exclusive backer content (IGA Boss, Sowrd-whip) or the reward bonuses (slipcase, poster, etc. depending on the tier).
