I have confidence too, all I'm saying is I wouldn't be surprised if they had to delay it a few months.

The Bloodstained we have now is a much different beast than what it was announced in May 11th that was asking for $500,000 and an 18 month long development time.

You're forgetting PayPal, which is at LEAST at $180k (Last concrete number given; it's definitely higher by now).

This puts us at 5.23m. 6 hours for $270k.

Edit: This is an average of 45k per hour. We've been doing 50k+ per hour since the 5.5m stretch goal was revealed. I imagine this will go up by a lot during the livestream.

Different campaigns send out their surveys at different times but for those campaigns that do send out surveys "early", you always have the option to change any details till probably a few weeks/months before they intend to actually start shipping stuff out (in case you move or change your mind on platform).

Trying to finish up a couple more sidequests in Order of Ecclesia before I beat this game. On gamefaqs it says I can find the Tasty meat as a rare dropp in somnus reef, but I've only been getting sapphires and a cherysobl for green chests. I accidentally used the one in Drac's Castle.

Yes! That's exactly the impression I have of her. I don't want her to be a badass who never allows herself to be anything other than that, I'm thinking more of a kind woman who is also very much capable to be a badass when shit gets real.

And because of that, Vicar Amelia's voice would fit her perfectly, imo.

I got your back! I have the backer stuff guaranteed for my pledge amount, but it is quite shitty to make it not only Kickstarter exclusive, but also pretty much a $32 Kickstarter DLC.

Sure, I'm also getting some cool stuff along with the DLC for my $60, but nothing a publisher like CDPR or Atlus wouldn't give for free in day one editions or whatever.

Make sure you're wearing the treasure hat and luck-boosting gear. Chest Drops are all luck unfortunately and can take some time if the rng is being an asshole.

Chest drops are really shyte in OoE (another one of the reasons I don't like the game; random chest drops in an exploration game are ehhhh. Never liked the enemy ones too much either).
I'd suggest getting the treasure hat as that'll increase your chance to get the tasty meat.
 
Only around 5 hours to go and boss revenge mode is all that is left! It is great to see that an IGA game can be fully founded like this by the fans.

It's insane to think that this Kickstarter is not only going to break Torment's video game kickstarter record, but probably do so by one million dollars.

Was a scientific explanation to that ever decided upon? I remember reading some stuff in the immediate aftermath of the event, but I don't know if it was anything more than conjecture.

I find it fascinating in an incredibly frustrating way. As somebody who originally saw the dress as white and gold and was able to watch the color change by scrolling the image, but later completely unable to see anything other than black and blue no matter what I did or told myself, I still get stressed out about it.

Funnily enough, after all this time, I'm now able to see the dress as white and change to blue by scrolling the image.

We're talking about the gold and white/black and blue dress drama

I want to get a PS4 disk and also a digital copy but $125 is alot. Like maybe the digital code is enough.

They're doing retail physical copies. What will end up being rare/expensive is the Kickstarter backer exclusive packaging for the physical stuff.
 
I am a fucking idiot. If you are a paypal backer you can upgrade your tier whenever. You get sent a link by fangamer to your backer information. You can upgrade there. Just upped to 150 and will up to 250 next month. I can rest happy my Kojima and Amano art will be delivered to me in good order along with the game in due time:) The almost two year wait will be hard though:(
 
Was going to put $60 but today my phone carrier decided to extort me 3x this month's bill. Oh well, pledged $5, I'll put the rest when (if?) I see my monies back.

The final update to the Kickstarter says the PayPal total is 180k. This was several hours ago. It's probably at more now, but we're all playing it safe by just adding 180k to the kickstarter total.

What can I say, I guess WRPGs are just a dead genre.

In all seriousness a lot of things worked in IGA's favor on this.

It's been a long time since one of his games came out and people remember them fondly. His vision for the series was totally discarded and the company that did it has a massive level of hatred which probably hit an all time high around the time the Kickstarter began. The sub-genre IGA helped define is also a pretty popular in the indie scene right now and if you noticed that's something that they embraced quite heavily especially during the original stream.

All that with a very well run campaign and a legacy of excellent games kind of created a perfect storm that knocked this Kickstarter out of the park.

Since I have seen a lot of the stuff discussed here addressed by the project itself I think they may have even been monitoring this thread. I just want to say if any of you guys are reading this I want you guys to pat yourselves on the back as you did a great job with this.
