Well, back to disappointment since this got leaked.

The question now is how they're actually going to release all of this.

It's clear that Ryu and Roy are complete characters who are inside the Lucas update. Does this mean that they'll be released alongside Lucas?

If so, it seems likely to me that we might be looking at a form of "Season Fighters" kind of release schedule. It's clear that between Smash's release and the seven months since then, they've worked in four DLC fighters. Mewtwo was a freebie for Club Nintendo, but Lucas makes sense to be made available as a discount bundle together with Roy and Ryu.

So is it possible that near the end of the year we might get another kind of bundle of one veteran and one newcomer?

I want them to all be released tomorrow, but knowing Nintendo I wouldn't be surprised if they spaced them out, releasing Lucas tomorrow, Roy in July, Ryu in August, then announced Wolf in September and then released him alongside ballot news in October.

What evidence do you have of this? I have no doubt he'll be identical to his appearance in Melee. The only differences will be things that changed from Marth's moveset since Brawl.

Other then Flare Blade Roy is a full on Marth clone that rewards you for spacing attacks horribly.

Hopefully they make FB not suck. And come out faster.

But I have a dreadful feeling that might be exactly the case. So far, I believe Miiverse has only three known songs, which is a lot smaller a music selection than we've come to expect from the majority of Smash Wii U's stages.

Yes, I'd expect a Koei Tecmo character to have more of a chance to end up in Smash 4 than any Konami or Hudson character given Konami's current attitude towards console gaming.

Whilst not really comparable to Ryu, Mega Man, Pac-Man and Sonic I wouldn't say no to KT's rep being Lu Bu.

No, it's his Focus Attack (called it!), which will properly work like Chizard's Rocksmash. You can see Ryu using it in the Victory Video, no one is attacking him there and he still uses the move.
