Roy (our boy) & Ryu confirmed for Smash Bros

Can't say I like either of these choices. I'd rather more Nintendo characters. Toad, Toadette, Daisy, Waluigi, characters from Animal Crossing (Blathers), Dixie, Inklings from Splatoon, ect. I guess the good news is I won't have to spend any money on new characters.

All I'm saying is that Street Fighter II had a bigger impact on Nintendo consoles than Castlevania did. It's the best-selling third-party game in Nintendo history. There are a lot of Castlevania games, but none of them come close to matching SFII.

Hypothetically — and this is just my opinion — I'd say a character who appeared in one Nintendo game that sold 50 million copies is more deserving than a character who appeared in 10 Nintendo games that each sold 50,000 copies. I’m one of those people who prefers having Wii Fit Trainer over Chibi-Robo, Starfy, or any other recurring minor character.

The Street Fighter emblem seems lazy to me, but it’s not a big deal. The other letter-based emblems make sense since they actually feature in their respective games (DK, Metroid’s S, Wario’s W), but I’ve never seen an “SF” emblem anywhere in a Street Fighter game. That’s like making Super Mario’s emblem “SM” or Fire Emblem’s “FE.” It feels like a cop out. I’d have preferred the punch icon or even a global grid.

Yeah, I don't mind Ryu being playable in Smash Bros but since the SNES Street Fighter has been everywhere but Nintendo except for minor offerings.
 
I'm still hoping that we'll get a teaser for Wolf at E3.

Imagine us seeing some gameplay of Star Fox U, and at the end of the footage, there's some dog fighting going on, some enemy vessel explodes and flies towards the camera, the screen goes up in flames, the Smash logo slashes in and we hear a familiar "Can't let you do that, Star Fox!" - cue a short teaser of Wolf doing a taunt or something.
 
Man, I feel like we never talk about how fucking amazing the FoD theme is, though. The instrumentation, the layers, god, it's so good. I don't think I'll ever get sick of it.

Real talk, the only thing about all of this that is worth getting even a little upset over is the continued lack of custom moves for DLC characters. Unique custom moves would breath new life into returning Melee characters and help differentiate clone better.
 
Hey guys, do you think there will be a balance patch ?

That would be embarassing if Roy is released and sucks as much as Marth. Or Roy doesn't suck and it will really point out how much others sword users suck. Either way buff every Fire Emblem characters please (And jigglypuff)

I never got why people think Marth is bad.
Or why Robin needs buffing.
 
Also, if you don't think FemMorgan, Inigo, Cynthia, and Owain aren't the best kids, your opinions on time-traveling offspring are invalid.

Man, even if FoD isn't in the game (which is definitely disappointing, IMO), the music on that stage has always been a strong reason why it was so memorable. Even if it's not on quite the right stage, it's still nice to have.
