That would be one hell of a way to kick off E3 week. I imagine Sakurai being Sakurai, he has a backup bomb to drop in the last few moments of the Direct, but geez what a fuck up.

This has easily been the leakiest Smash ever. We had Brawl and Melee leaks, but nothing on the scale we've had for Smash 4 over the last few years.
Yeah, but we didn't really know the extent of it all.
We'd of seen the stage in actual motion, alongside Ryu's moveset, the inputs alongside his duo final smash.
Should would of been hype as fuck.
Maybe it was good though, since I need to be up early Monday for an exam and the hype would of kept me up all day, lol.

I really hope theres a CGI trailer, at least for Ryu. Is the only surprise they can show on that direct.
O yeah, we really knew, but the designs and video of them moving would be still a great reveal. Now, if theres no CGI trailer, nothing is even remotley near a surprise.

I doubt there'll be an EX Tatsu. You could probably work it if it keeps track of which way you're facing before you start the motion, but that would be confusing for some players during multiplayer matches. And it wouldn't really make sense having EXes for all of his specials, since there's no EX focus. Well, red focus, I guess. EDIT: Or maybe I don't know what I'm talking about.

With how Nintendo has done DLC for Smash there's no possible way there won't be a bundle.
In fact there will probably be three bundles:
1. All three new characters on one platform
2. All three new characters on both Wii U and 3DS
3. All three new characters + new mii fighter costumes on Wii u and 3DS, aka mega bundle
It's what they did when Mew was released with the first batch of mii fighter costumes.

IMO, Dreamland should be free. It looks terrible visually, hardly anything done to it, and it would be weird to sell it by itself.

Sorry, forgot the new stages. I suspect Ryu's stage would come with Ryu. I agree Dreamland seems like it'd be a free bonus along with the Miiverse stage.
Sakurai: Due to unforseen circumstances, we will have to delay Lucas, Roy, and Ryu to a later date to further refine them. Please understand assholes.

But wait, say he wants to do EX Tatsu. That's QCB, right? So he does that, and due to the nature of Smash he'll turn the other direction, and wouldn't that make the motion count as QCF?
I don't think we've seen any other EX other than hadouken. It might be the only one.
How about on the 3DS since it doesn't have the Miiverse stage?
If it is free, I imagine it'll just be on the 3DS and yeah.
I can see the Street Fighter stage being with Ryu, so seems feasible.

This totally reminds me of when SvC Chaos came out. We thought we knew the whole roster. A couple interesting picks but it was mostly KoF vs Street Fighter not unlike Capcom vs SNK. And then it came out in Japan and all of a sudden

No idea if Dream Land 64 will be paid or free. It really doesn't stand out enough for it to be paid, but I would be surprised (& pleased) if it was free along with Miiverse.
I just know it'll be nice if both get 3DS versions. I still don't mind playing that version to get Smash on the go, but I really do want new stages.

Laugh all you want but I feel part of what makes smash so fun and accessible is the fact that the game doesn't have inputs like that.

Whilst Roy is a "weaker" inclusion due to his previous clone status can we stop with the "another sword fighter" bullshit? I can easily say that Ryu is "just another fist fighter" and it'll be as stupid as the sword fighter comments.

Seems like the EX version is weaker but multihit.

Ryu & Roy's models and attacks and trophies & such were pretty much all in the latest patch Japan got.
Ryu is getting his own stage.
Ryu seems to be able to pull off 2 final smashes depending on distance & appears to have EX versions of moves if you input them via SF controls instead of SSB controls.
Roy appears to be less "clone-y". Think the best comparison I've heard is "he's more like Luigi than Dr. Mario" now.
Dream Land 64 is coming back.
There's an Inkling Girl trophy.
Ken MIGHT be an assist trophy since he has a trophy as well.
There's new Mii outfits consisting of Isabelle, Mega Man.EXE, Zero from MMX, Heihachi from Tekken, then Akira & Jacky from Virtua Fighter.
