Forza Motorsport 6 has "wet weather, 3D puddles and night races" + more

So what other tracks do you think are a possibility to make the cut?

I feel as if we will get at least one large track returning, Fujimi Kaido?

Do you think they will rebuild the track using laser scanning?

I know I heard rumblings about Monza.

Maple Valley and Monza would be nice.

The Japanese tracks really need attention......

I hope they manage to make it easier to browse through the livery and tuning storefront in Forza 6. Why on earth can't we sort searches by download count, date added, most popular in the last 30 days, etc in Forza 5 and Horizon 2? I all but gave up on trying to find anything in both of those games.

I think graphically, the jump will be similar to FM2 -> FM3, which was huge.

I can't really see a FM2 to FM3 style jump happening wihout utterly embarrassing every other racer so far this gen. Unlike FM2, FM5 isn't any ugly game, so there's far less room for improvement imo.

Yup Forza 2 hardly looked better than the first game apart from higher resolution and some slightly fancier lighting. It got a pass though as 60fps was such a huge improvement.

Hope you like it. :D

I explained it in the following sentence why I thought a solid graphical jump would be plausible. Also, you're right, FM5 isn't that bad looking, but the lighting leaves a lot to be desired after playing FH2.

I wish they would fix the door handles on the Dodge Challenger. The ones from the 2008-2010 models are different from the ones from 2011- onwards.

Helios pls.

Yea, I read your entire post. I'm not saying we won't see a solid graphics jump (hell, the stuff we already know, combined with some better AA would be a solid graphics jump imo), but FM2 to FM3 was something else entirely. The two games look like they belong on different hardware entirely. It's almost like comparing Perfect Dark Zero to Gears of War or something.

One thing I'd like is more custom aero/appearance by T10. The ones we get now with the front valance/lip and huge rear wing are so old now. How long they been in since FM2?

Keep them in but create some more versions for a bit of variety.

I would be so happy with Monza.

Also, if pCARS has taught me anything, it's that Brands Hatch and Willow Springs are still super fun tracks. I would love to see either of them in Forza 6, Brands Hatch being the more likely of the two though.

The chance is pretty much non-existent, but it would be amazing to see Circuit of the Americas as well.

I would love that plus Fuji Speedway, Motegi and Tsukuba

Oh yeah, we definitely need Motegi back, hopefully they were in Japan with those laser scanning trucks all year.

I want Virginia International Raceway.

Those tracks still unknown right?

The first one I believe is Rio. The second I have no idea. Doesn`t look like any of the existent tracks.
The last one is hard to tell. I would bet on Infineon Raceway.

The long straight on the second looks like it could only be Sebring as the poster said above, or Suzuka IMO.

I think you guys are right. Looks like Sebring, inside the pit they have those sign plates, and the building looks the same.

I think it is Sebring. Someone posted another image a while back showing Sebring and it looks really close.

I just pray that there are no test tracks in the game. If Sidewinder shows it ugly face, I will punch FordGTGuy in the face (joking).

You wouldn't punch a guy with glasses would you?

The only test tracks I want back is Montserrat.

Does anyone have a link to the video from where this pic is taken?

It's from a Ford Performance lineup CG video.

Looking at the photo closer and I really don't think it's Infineon, that's a lot of trees for a track that has just about none in real life and I can't find a turn that matches those barriers...

Honestly I think that's Sebring at night.

I have no idea about the first one, but I'd bet on Rio like everyone else. The palm trees and apartments in the background sort of give it away. Could be a new track of course.

The second one is Sebring, The comparison was posted in this thread:

The third one could be Hockenheim...maybe.

Also, I really hope they fix the R32 Skyline GT-R model, for the 802965236th time. Please Turn 10. It kind of puts me off doing liveries for it when I notice how out-of-whack it is. The 22B model could do with some attention too. These are minor in the grand scheme of things of course.

A few other things I want to see, allow me to buy multiple cars at once. So I don't have to repeat the slow buying process ~450 times. Just make it like the livery editor where if you hold the right trigger you can select multiple layers, do it so I can select multiple cars.
I'd also like to see homespaces like the PGR garages where you could walk around all the cars. I remember in PGR3 I had all the Ferrari's at the one place, it would make for some great photomode pics.

It's turn 17 at Sebring, facing from the corner exit side out toward the outside wall.

I am rabid with hype guys, head going nuts. Giiiiivee me Forza 6 stuffs!

I am with you. Out of all the games at E3 being show, I think Forza 6 is the one I am looking forward to the most. The fact that it represents the first "AAA" game that is a sequel on the same console get's me excited to see what things they have learned from launching F5 and their involvement in FH2.

Regardless of the hype, there is one thing I am 100% confident in when it comes to Turn 10 and Forza, the Pit Stops and how they work and you interact with them will be utter crap. Their best implementation was in Forza Motorsport, the original game, since then it has been worse with each version of the game. Pit stops can be a fantastic game play thing if done correctly. If they would allow tire/fuel wear to be increased, pit stop strategy can be a fun thing to have in the game.

I'm not completely sure.

With a little enhancing, at the top left, you can make out something blue on the ground, some red/yellow barriers and maybe a bit of a pit lane with red on the top and blue and yellow under it.

I feel like that's the ending chicane of Spa for some reason. The cars would be heading towards the final straight while the camera would be on the start of it.

I don't think that's it, check my other photo where you can see yellow/red barriers in the background on the left side.

Could be a outdoor? theres a Rolex outdoor right there in FM5. You can see the border of it in my image.

And those maks/bumps in the ground are very particular of sebring.
