Bethesda E3 2015 Showcase Thread: Please Stand By

How will ZeniMax/Bethesda's conference go?

I might hold off a month or two after release then fucking go nuts. So many games this year...

Though I'm 99.9% certain I'll crack and play day 1.

Started real weak but ended strong with the crafting and customization stuff. We know absolutely nothing about the story of course lol, but hey you can customize weapons.

Doom looked like one huge generic cliche all wrapped up inside a nostalgic name package.

Can't tell anything about Dishonored due to CG trailer.

Pretty meh conference saved by Fallout crafting system and a cool pip boy
 
I know that Doom ran a little long, but I'm glad to see a lot of time given to each game at a large scale press conference.

2015 release for Fallout 4 after a killer presentation was money.
 
fallout and dishonor for me :) Beth has done well imo, although they spent too long on doom but fallout and dishonoured :) wow

I love the fallout presentation. it was not just a demo/trailer, they done a presentation. It seems like this is what they do for media

They said they've been working on it since 2009, I would guess a lot of the assets are old.
 
Fallout 4 looks so damn good and coming this year so effing year hype level maximum. I do wish they would had a collectors edition with the tin lunchbox like for fallout 3 other then that home run.

I never played dishonored, but dishonored 2 looked really good as well.

That shit is gonna sell out in 5 minutes.

Doom was a nice surprise for me, it looks very polished, very frenetic, and fits a nice little niche in my personal current MP repertoire (unless UT comes out first).

I was underwhelmed at first by Fallout, but then my jaw dropped at the customization potential and OH MY GOD the modding possibilities and jetpacks and AHHHHHH

Good start to E3.
 
Devs take note, this is how you present your game. Get somebody with some real charm like Todd up on stage, show off the systems, gameplay, and leave em satisfied. No more of this tired vertical slice few minute bullshit, put some meat on those video bones. I really wish more devs would just reveal it close to release like this, but I realize not every dev has the mindshare of Bethesda.
 
That was great IMO.

Really focused. Showed some great looking games. All of them seem to be within the next year.

My only issue is I want that pip boy and I never seem to be able to get these great collectors editions anymore.
 
Doom was a little drawn out, but still good. Fallout 4 was just amazing looking. Was that really the Xbox One version?

Lastly, FINALLY Add-On Content for Elder Scrolls On-Line all coming this year. So in the next 6 months we are getting a TON of content for ESO! Finally!
 
I am really impressed. The only thing that pissed me off is dishonored 2. It was all pre-rendered crap. Fallout 4 Just destroyed everything, and the release date was not a surprise to be honest. After seeing how far along they were in the gameplay trailer, it's pretty obvious they're in the later stages.
 
Loved the conference; Doom 4 looked awesome (I don't play many arcadey shooters but I'l play this). Fallout 4 was just mindblowing; truly a series of unexpected features shown.

And Fallout Shelter I'll be downloading tonight.
 
Audience was cringeworthy, but shit, Fallout 4 looks a lot better than the trailer. Todd Howard knows how to do a presentation.

Didn't see the whole show buy my eyes did roll when I saw that game.. but they rolled right back into position when he made clear no BS free to play game shenanigans. Just fair and honest, and yeah you can buy random loot drops if you so desire. Great! :)

Need more of this please!
