How many shirts will Phil Spencer wear?

Noticed no Battlefront, they must be doing something at Sony conference. Same with CoD. I'm actually disappointed in that because I could care less about CoD and was fine with that taking up time at the MS conference before.

reCore - CG Trailer need to see more to have a opinion
Rare New IP - looks great hopefully this isn't some F2P MMO
RARE - great collection great price
Gears 4 - looks more generic and boring than ever
Backwards compatibility - great news, but need to know what titles they will have and does this include XBLA games. Though after nearly 2 years seems a bit late and won't make much of an impact.

Terrible conference. reCore and Rare New IP are the highlight but they could potentially be bad games the trailers haven't made me think I need those games.

I'm really surprised so many people are shitting on the conference. I thought it was pretty darn good. Although, I am skeptical that hololens will work even remotely close to that demonstration.

Microsoft is doing a lot of things right nowadays. I might pick up an Xbone in the next year.

Way too much CG for my taste, and so many of these games really don't appeal to me, but partial BC and the Elite (LOL) controller might bring the Bone back into "might buy" territory for me, so I think it was a nice presentation.

Show ran out of steam after the first half hour. Still because of some of these announcements I thought it was still a very good show. I was hyped more in the first half hour than for almost any other show I've watched.

Biggest announcements for me:
- Fallout 4 PC mods coming to Xbox 1 Fallout 4
- Backwards compatibility (this is legitimately insane to me and unexpected. Hope there's some way to bring over digital games as well.)

The other things I liked but expected:
- Rare Collection
- The indie games showcase

Things I liked but aren't that big:
- New controller

Games like Gears, Tomb Raider, Forza, and Halo are fine, but I'm not really into them. The Minecraft segment was a very cool tech demo but it's not something that I'm interested in at all. It was a very solid show if you're already into Gears, Forza, and Halo. If you're not into that then there's not a lot, and if you are into those things then you probably already have an Xbox 1.

So overall that conference was OK, nothing outright bad but nothing to get me excited about wanting an xbox one. My plan still stands to get a decent bundle when Quantum Break comes out, maaaaaaybe Halo 5 but more than likely not then. Rise Of The Tomb Raider I'll get when it's out on PC, same day as Fallout 4 being released means it's not something I'll miss anytime soon.

To be honest I thought the best thing there was the customisable xbox one joypad.

Eh. I give it a 6/10.

BC is the only interesting part and it's waaaay too late IMO. Not a lot of X1 owners who still have their 360 collection and don't still have their 360. Not a lot of 360 games that are must-own for X1 owners who don't have a 360 (since all of the good ones have already been remastered anyway). Kind of pointless, but a nice gesture.

Gears 4 demo looked awful. Black, dark, dark, blood, black, chainsaw, black.

Mediocre, limited BC apart (which is not that relevant outside vocal gaming forums minorities) there was nothing that would convince me to buy a Xbone.

Pretty boring press conference, no real surprises outside of the BC announcement. Can't say any of the games shown would make me want to buy an X1.

Oh, that was the end?

Pretty bad conference. Nothing outstanding like with Bethesda and a bunch of trailers that showed nothing. I wanted to see more of Cuphead and the trailer for that girl and robot game looked cool, but I wanted to see gameplay. They also got me when they showed banners for Banjo, Perfect Dark, and Battletoads.

Call me pessimistic but... fuck it whatever

Cuphead looked cool though

BC seemed cool at first but I can't think of any 360 games I wanna play. Got Bayo on Wii U now, Red Dead is worth a replay ehh

That was a strong conference IMO. It did falter towards the end though, but still. Backwards compatibility, though. MS threw down the gauntlet, and I wonder what Sony has up their sleeve.

It was an ok conference. Better than I expected. Only real highlights were the BW compatibility and the Inafune game (and even that was just a CG trailer). The rest was extremely predictable (GeOW, Halo, Forza, TR, Fable) or kinda disappointing (for me at least), mainly Rare's new game.

Edit: Oh and the HoloLens thing was kind of interesting, but I am skeptical about its usefulness.

7/10

Started strong, got a bit meh in the middle and ended alright.

We'll see how much their "What we just showed is only a fraction of what we have in store for this E3. We'll have new first party games to announce in the week" will amount to. They could still very much "win" E3, it's not just about the Press Conference as Nintendo demonstrated last year.
