Does Kickstarter charge immediately?
Why does Ryo's face look messed up?
Almost at 700k. It is doing well, but not the gangbusters I expected.
Thank you!Never used kickstarter before, just backed the 300$ tier. So excited.
I refuse to fund unless he makes an X1 version as well. Disingenuous as hell, Shenmue should be reaching all platforms.
Why can't they just it from a publisher?
$730,000! Holy shit!
Why does the $60 pledge only get you the PC physical version? Why not PS4 too?
How come it's so cheap to develop? Wasn't the original like 100 million or so to produce?
I haven't ever played Shenmue 1 and 2 and I'm buying a copy of Shenmue 3 for you guys. I support my homies.
Also shame I can't play Shenmue 1 and 2 on ps4.
Thanks. Pledged. After it closes you will get an email to log in and make preferences

Wow this thing is going fast. Someone has already taken the $10,000 pledge.
GUYS, the game does not actually need a mere $2 million to get made. It will cost much more than that.
The Kickstarter is just being used the way Chris Roberts originally was going to use it for Star Citizen: Proof that there's demand so he can go back to investors and secure enough money.
Once this raises $2 million (and surely more), Sony will agree to put up the rest of the cash.
Yea it must be a test by Sony/Sega and after the goal is reached they'll take care of the rest I thinkThis game isn't getting made for $2 million. That $2 million goal is probably to show an investor, probably Sony, that there's enough interest for it to be worth the investment.

My first kickstarter.
Quick question - how and when do we get to decide which platform we want for our digital copy?
It was. Maybe they'll get more investor money later? Or just that at the time it was just expensive to make.
