GUYS, the game does not actually need a mere $2 million to get made. It will cost much more than that.

The Kickstarter is just being used the way Chris Roberts originally was going to use it for Star Citizen: Proof that there's demand so he can go back to investors and secure enough money.

Once this raises $2 million (and surely more), Sony will agree to put up the rest of the cash.

Why does the $60 pledge only get you the PC physical version? Why not PS4 too?

I am guessing a run of PS4 copies cost much more than a run of PC copies because of licensing fees and other junk like that?

I think sony offered them like, a huge chunk of money to kickstarter the project and get the role of publisher basically.

The kickstater is like a market research / pre order campaign to secure sells

This game isn't getting made for $2 million. That $2 million goal is probably to show an investor, probably Sony, that there's enough interest for it to be worth the investment.

Yea it must be a test by Sony/Sega and after the goal is reached they'll take care of the rest I think

Sony is funding a big ass chunk of it to secure the exclusive. This KS is to get the fans involved and basically preordering.

Lol, the $2 million isn't fully funding the game. It's there to gauge initial interest and demand. Sony are obviously co-funding this, hence the exclusivity. It's guaranteed they'll pitch in after interest is cemented.

Quick question - how and when do we get to decide which platform we want for our digital copy?

After the Kickstarter ends (and usually a few months before it's due to be "shipped") you'll get an email telling you that a survey is available for the project. The survey is where you will select your platform and provide contact info (email or mailing address depending on if you got any physical rewards) so they can send it to you once it's ready.
