The time it takes to accumulate credits after you get the initial sum is absurdly too long in the f2p shooter market though.

BL:R and TF2 are the best ways to go imo.

Eh, we'll agree to disagree then. I also think it's a bit long, but there's the missions that refresh every 3 hours, first win of the day, etc. that make it go by faster. I also recognize that Splash Damage isn't Valve and can't pull of TF2's model. I'm not especially bothered by it given how much fun I've had without paying a cent, and doing pretty well in most matches.
