WIRELESS SUPPORT for haptics on Dualsense Controllers on PC coming VERY SOON : DSX Devs

As you may all know or not know, Dualsense haptics only work via wired connections on PC.
Adaptive tiggers and rumble work fine by BT, however sony has never launched a BT driver or dongle to support wireless haptics on PC.
This is all about to change with the DSX devs posting an update on youtube that they have managed to hack the BT protocol to send audio haptic signals to the DS to give us true haptic rumble wirelessly on PC with Dualsense controllers.
You can see in the video above and in the comments section they said they think they will launch by the end of the year.

I'd pay for this if it works well. I don't like using cables for my controllers and also don't like missing features so this would make viable using Dual Sense on PC for me (I've been using Xbox Elite with a dongle for ages)

Hmm. I wonder if they can get the speaker audio working.
Can you recommend some PS5 games that use that feature really well?

I guess I chalk it up to the games I play but for me the audio that is produced is underwhelming at best garbled and muddy at worst.
I enjoyed AstroBot quite a bit...the big negative for me was the sound out of the controller.

Just curious if its a me thing (maybe I just have trash hearing) or if the feature is generally just not very good.

Sony is putting in a lot of work on their PC presence huh......

If they release Astrobot on PC I would double dip for sure! One of the best games in a long time!

This isn't Sony, it's an independent dev team:

I already have it and think it's a great piece of software if you tend to use your dualsense on PC. Being able to use haptics and the triggers in games that don't natively support them is more than worth it if you like the features.

Right now I'm playing ghost of yotei that uses it pretty well. Usually it's best for audio logs. I can't remember all the games that use it for audio logs, I believe Returnal and Horizon Forbidden West does.

Could just be me then or my controllers. To me the wind sound in Yoti (swiping up on the touch pad) is actually awful and the returnal audio sounds extremely tinny (I am not expecting audiophile level stuff here...but it sounds almost broken to me).

idk, but some tinny sound is why the audio logs sound good in it, not sure if yours is more extreme.

Thanks! I didn't know this was a thing and if I had learned about it just by the Steam page I would have probably not picked it up because the reviews are not that good. However, your recommendation has pushed me to get it.

I may have bought this one before but it requires constant on in the background and I'm fed up 3rd party softwares and cleaned nearly most them from Windows. Wish I could save profiles into the Dualsense and open the program when I need it. Not always.
