Licensing and the english audience wants english voice acting

if licensing is a thing then that's understandable, but the second point doesn't make sense because including a second language doesn't make the first disappear.

if it was just VA then I wouldn't care but jpop with western vocals hurts me :(

none of this would matter if I could import friggin wii u games

Curious about the level design. Cars need roads -> just industrial environments

And Im no transformer fan but do they even use weapons? What does this mean for weapon variety

I only ever watched Gen 1 but they all either had guns or shot lasers out of their hands somehow. there weren't a ton of melee weapons iirc

This is the real question. I need to have that guy come back on and talk about it. It's like the highlight of my E3.

Justin isn't at E3 this year, so this will be the first time he misses a GB late night panel. But yeah, it's probably releasing after E3 next year so I'm sure he'll be on to talk about it next year :)

Listening to Alex's Wattam talk during the wrap-up yesterday.... Foly Huck, I want that game. Don't want to see it. Don't want to hear about it. I want to play it.

They mostly use guns but meele weapons are not excluded at all. Hell, Megatron g1 transforms into a gun Platinum confirmed there is going to 100+

Just caught up with the Day 1 panel. Of course Jeff killed it, no idea why people keep being surprised by this - Giant Bomb's success wasn't a fluke.

Also, woke up to this little piece of business being announced for Farming Simulator 2015

If it works with American Truck Simulator, I might go Full Vinny

Phil Spencer has been a class act this year, great presence for Microsoft, he's a better ambassador for the company than they've had for a long while.

Jeff was on fire last night too, god damn.

Seen the creator of Lockdown on Youtube.Upload of the song

I guess he is confused as to why it is so popular

They need to get him on the show

Also it's not like it's a negative thing. The fans genuinly love the song because of GB lol. Hell, I added it to my gym playlist the other day lol.

I think it's hilarious that Phil Spencer went into a tangent about not excluding people from playing games where they want to play them considering the situation with Rise of the Tomb Raider.

Also considering MS's previous generation approach. Get it exclusive. Can't get it exclusive, get it first. Can't get it first, get Exclusive content. Can't get exclusive content, get the content with a 6 month buffer.

His opinion echoes most of the gamers I see talk about the issue. Everyone seems ok with it as long as they get the benefit of the policy.

I think it's ok for it to happen usually. I don't really want both consoles to have the EXACT same library outside of first party games. What did Spencer think of Sunset Overdrive? It was arguably the best game in the library at the time and was a third party exclusive.

I only object when it's a series that was on both systems and suddenly becomes exclusive. That really sucks for people.

Eh, you can't blame him for it. I don't own an Xbox so I'm pretty bummed and curious about how long I'll have to wait to play the new Tomb Raider but its his job to make the Xbox One as appealing as possible and he's made a ton of strides in the right direction. My only issue with the Tomb Raider thing was how cagey he was being when it was first announced. So I guess you could tease him about his comment of "You know I try to be as transparent as possible..." statement too but it is a business, he's gotta do what is best for his brand.

The elite controller looks like some cool stuff.

Right? D-pad looks weird, but it's replaceable anyway. They also specifically mentioned the shoulder buttons are fixed. All the replacement parts come with it.

The paddles can be mapped to any other button on the controller, which is cool, but I hope on PC I can map them as additional inputs instead of mirroring another.

Dropping $150 plus the dongle to use it on PC seems a little high, but the option to use batteries instead of having to charge is pretty tempting. My DS4s pretty much die after four hours, it's horrid.

They really do. A live rendition of Lockdown to close the E3 coverage.

Lockdown is popular 'cos it's actually a really neat tune. If it was 'so bad it's good' it would have got old a long time ago but it's genuinely catchy and fun and it's popularity seemed to be a genuine reaction on the chat when it first started to appear on live-stream breaks a year tor two back, it caught on really quickly.

Of course. I'm not blaming him for the statement, just trying to point out the major hypocrisy in it. The same hypocrisy you see from gamers most of the time. It's just silly from both sides. Son'y used to go on about these kind of deals hurting the industry and hey look, once they are in a position to make those deals them self, they do it.

It sounds really poor when spoken in an interview like that. We all know they would be locking down everything exclusive if they could, and he knows that too but he has to shovel a PR line about it. He's better than that but what can he do?
