Yeeeah it's hard for me to justify spending that much on the controller, especially since I preorderd the Steam controller already.

Yeah, I think it's just a consequence of pretty much spending a full school year with them plugged into the system/my PC at all times. The battery life started out bad and then just got worse as the batteries got shot.

Dropping $150 plus the dongle to use it on PC seems a little high, but the option to use batteries instead of having to charge is pretty tempting. My DS4s pretty much die after four hours, it's horrid.

That's unfortunately how Periscope works. I think it's meant as sort of an in-the-now streaming thing on phones for phones.

As Phones become people's primary computers you are going to see more and more vertical video. We just need to accept that we are old and the world has passed us by.
