Its a bug

But fighting game basics are also really really simple. You do a small motion that is shared by almost every character in the game plus a button you get a special move, there's no mistery there, applying them in real matches will always require execution seeing it's a real time game and not a turn based one.

MOBAs like League are the exact same. Oh sure, last hitting is as simple as right clicking, but in actual matches your lane opponents will be harassing you so you have to keep moving between CS so you don't eat enemy attacks for free while also keeping track of minion HP to know when you can last hit then you have click at the minion with precision while also dodging a whole other shit.

People have this stigma that fighting games are hard to get into because they don't feel like learning a bunch of shit on a character by character basis, not because of execution.
Yeah, but that is the thing. In a MOBA, everyone has a 6-8 shared buttons that do their moves plus their right-click attack which is either ranged or melee.
In fighting games, those shared buttons turn into an assortments of 6 basics joytsick movements x number of attack types, 3 basic charges and the odd 360 movement. And then you have 4-6 basic attacks which look and behave differently on a per character basis.

It's not as bad as people think but again, the 1vs1 highlights the limits of you own skill too.
The amount of team rage in multiplayer online straight up made me quit that stuff. I don't need bottom leaguers blaring into my ears how we all suck and are responsible for him being down with us when he actually deserves grandmaster honours. I had my share and am done.
Yes yes, my fault, don't play with randoms, I know.

That sounds like what a person who is already a fighting game player would take issue with, wanting to go from beginner to intermediate, because they're already thinking in terms of breaking down matchups. Not a completely new person to the genre starting from scratch. This conversation rooted in Teknopathetic's rant says otherwise, because he's talking about execution being a common complaint.

Wish Nash's V-Trigger was a timed effect like the other characters. Feel like a waste to have to build two bars for it to only get to use it once.
