After going back to that game regularly over the past decade, I think I'm finally over it. The latest expansion with all the garrison shit etc. made me realize the game is no longer for me.

I've tried to get into FFXIV over 6 times now. I have no reverence for Final Fantasy so it ends up just feeling like a slower WoW to me due to the longer GCD. I wish I could like it.

Also, I suppose I shouldn't shit talk Destiny too much. I spend my fair share of time in Elder Scrolls Online and that's not necessarily the most compelling game a lot of the time.

I didn't get anywhere near close to finishing Destiny (I mean in terms of leveling and loot, beat the narrative) and I've had that itch to get back into it. Been debating if I should buy Elder Scrolls Online instead to scratch that same sort of MMO itch.

Man, that interview with the Destiny guys made me interested in the Destiny expansion even less. I get that they can't speak 100% honestly about the game's faults in public, but no they said made me think that Bungie has learnt its lessons from the vanilla game and are applying it to the expansion.

I have very little love for FF, except for its job system. Probably why I like it so much. I also like its universe much more than WoW's.
