I've seen enough Guile matches @ NLBC to last me a lifetime. The character does nothing to me these days. I can appreciate the spacing but players like PR Rog and Smug with their characters are simply more entertaining.

It is just a question of what you prefer as a viewer.

Players have demons and running into one can shape up how you place in tournaments. For example, Smug would have preferred fighting Dieminion over Bonchan as Bonchan has blown him up just like Daigo has.


Gamerbee running into Daigo: pretty much gameover
Kazunoko running into Momochi: same
Momochi with Ken running into Smug: same
Poongko running into Infiltration or Smug: same
Daigo running into

list goes on

Of course, it isn't always guaranteed and those players have beaten their demons this year, but by and large it's true at most tournaments. This is just something I've noticed more often as players have been traveling more this year.
