Splatoon |OT2| Prepare to Dye

I have to admit, after watching the Treehouse play with the Blaster yesterday, it taught me how to really use it and now I'm having a blast using the Luna Blaster!

To me with the Krak-on Roller, I like piling on run speed + special charge up. Ink saver on the main is also nice. Figure the faster you run, the faster you paint so the faster the special gauge fills up. Then it's just about using the Krakken effectively(as in don't overexert yourself so you wind up dead).

Now I'm in the B ranks, on maps with two points I'm usually able to create enough hell on my own on the enemies point to enable us to win(usually just use krakken to go into enemy territory and take over an area above their point with chain satellites).

Only thing I have to really get down is throwing paint at enemies instead of rolling over all the time.

This is my setup:

I want something different for when I play Brush, but for my long range guns this is my setup for sure. I'm happy with all of the subs, although I'd prefer a Run Speed Sub somewhere. But I'm too broke to reroll constantly.

It's really just about ink efficiency. You can fire longer, recharge sooner, and get specials quicker. I consider Ninja Squid and Ink Resistance Up to be mandatory for most guns at this point.

Just load up game, watch Callie and Marie News. See current maps

The second it ends: Update from Callie and Marie! New maps. The best timing

Continuing the roller experimentation. Need to get used to the Carbon's reduced range and make better use of the bombs.

Edit: I honestly don't know how other Brushers jump n brush all over the place. I tried it once and my hands hurt. :lol
Years of playing shooters with a preference for using dual pistols trains your fingers for the mashing. That said my hand still starts to ache after an hour or two of brush use.

Team Walkman plus randoms destroys team gaf I'm lovin it

I remember that during both of the gaf matches I played in before the news update that everyone was literally focused on the center while I was busy trying to capture a certain part of saltspray rig.

It was suggested a few times by some members, I wanted to go with Feel Good Ink.

Unless there is another super clever title that people might prefer, or perhaps something more topical. I was looking for a Tower pun of some sort but I couldn't come up with anything.
Id like to put forward, "so good I splat my pants"

Ugh I hate nozzlenose dammit!
I met one user who played it like his sole purpose in life was to hit me with the disruptor every chance he got. It was really annoying.

The room's missing talented sniper tho :p.
e: full room, well gg everyone, I predict a ton of fried squids cooked by walkman and his dual squetcher today, have fun guys!

Need to get into a GAF room as randoms don't seem to know how to handle a splashing roller.

Wait how do you handle them lol, I've had a really hard time against people who are good with the dynamo roller when using close range weapons. Every time I get close to them to try and splat them they can predict my movements and splat me before I get there. The range and spread on the dynamo roller is crazy.

Inkbrush where have you been all my life!

It's the antithesis of how I normally play. I only play 96, Jet Squelcher, Chargers. Keep away, fight at max distance, and don't over commit.

Then I try this wonderful weapon. Yes, it's so satisfying. Be a ninja and ambush someone, run around their line and paint their side of the map, jumping and yoloing into the enemy when you find them. It's a whole different way of not over committing then the longer range weapons, so it's a good change of pace, and it spreads paint so easy. I'm used to firing in a straight line and strafing to spread paint. With this I jump and flail like a maniac and I love it.

I'm still 96 gal only in ranked for now, but it's a welcome addition my core weapons in Turf Wars.
Have you tried the roller?

I'm gonna join in for some splat fun in about half an hour.... which happens to be exactly how long Stealth Jump's lag is now.

Mines quite high too, just went 16-0 in my last match. Don't know what's going on.
Lol I'm playing the gaf room, I just like rubbing in their faces that for the past 6 matches I have died 4 times and have over 50 kills

Edit: thank you guys for finally taking me down

The extra pause at the beginning of a Stealth Jump is weird, apparently it's only .84 seconds but it's gonna take a while to get used to it

it feels a lot longer than .84 seconds, it feels like 2-3 seconds

the squid sits there havin a seizure before he decides to jump

i hate it worst nerf ever

This post reminds me, how many people are playing this with experience in other TPS/FPS? I literally had zero experience with competitive FPS/TPS before this (unless Squawkmatches in Banjo-Tooie/a bit of GoldenEye and Perfect Dark count) before this.
