SHENMUE 3 kickstarter (PC/PS4) - FINAL DAY - NEW KS RECORD GO GO GO!

Did my part in tweeting for #saveshenmue with a link to the kickstarted and got like 30 retweets lol. So some new people saw my post I guess
 
I'm up to $100, that's all I can really do unfortunately. But, I am super fucking stoked to get a physical PS4 edition finally.

Though I do wish I could do digital PC, physical PS4...it's been a great day for the campaign.
 
Some great new reward tiers, Awesome Japan starting to pull its head out of its own butt and FINALLY the physical PS4 version (is it exclusive to the Kickstarter?). Nice :) Some of those higher stretch goals are actually realistic now as opposed to a hilarious delusion.

I don't think you're being serious but LOL if you are. I know this is an amazing opportunity for longtime Shenmue fans but the world doesn't revolve around this game :P

Oh wow you were there too? Yeah those guys are awesome. The passion I see here for Shenmue is only really matched by ShenmueDojo. I was so glad to be able to hang with them for all the announcements and enjoy all the excitement. The Kavinsky shout out was amazing but you know what made me the happiest to see? Seeing Peter get the 10K reward and that trip to see Yu Suzuki because of the new tier introductions. A real dream come true moment for him. That was just heart warming. Loved seeing that.

Kept track through the explosion during the hour of the PS4 announcement and onward:

1st hour: 76k
2nd hour: 58k
3rd hour: 46k
Current hour so far:30k.

Not too shabby!

I'm always there (or at least lurking off and on for last 8-10 years).

Yeah seeing Peter get dinner was fantastic. Another Shenmuedojo member donated 10K to be a NPC which was pretty amazing.
 
The 1500 tier is awesome, just couldn't commit to that unfortunately, but I've upgraded to $500 and opened 2 other accounts so I can grab all physicals and digital versions, of course they will stay sealed.....amazeballs day for the mighty Shenmue.
 
Closing in on the third best day of the campaign! Should pass the third day by the end of the next hour or so! Sitting above 235k as we speak!

they're already in the game, they just get expanded when the stretch goals are hit.

they combat improvement stretch goals sound interesting, so hopefully we can keep pushing for them.

I would so be a Lucky Hit board or have a stupid photo in the harbor. Too rich for me though.
Although I might register a second account to get me one of them PS4 boxes in addition to the PC one. Glad that's an option now.
For now I raised my pledge to $333.33.
 
Epic day for the campaign. We passed Mighty No. 9 and Eternity to 3rd highest game Kickstarter and 11th overall Kickstarter campaign today. At the least we will pass Torment and reach the 2nd highest game Kickstarter and 10th overall by the end but I still think $6M and #1 game is within reach. Once the Kickstarter is over then follow up funding options can kick in to get us all the way into the top stretch goals. We are truly going to get the epic Shenmue experience that we all want. Just an awesome day.
 
779 new backers today, according to the last time Kicktraq updated. That is fantastic!

The campaign has been starved for new blood for a long time. That's the most new backers in a day since the 6th day.

It doesn't look to be a big shift, since you don't need to switch as the version you get will be determined by the post-KS survey.

I didn't catch it early enough but I took a note of the digital/physical PS4 numbers at 27,302 digital and 526 physical PS4. I defintely know the digital number was down on its peak but I can't remember by how much. I'll look later to see how much the digital's dropped by.

Also it was quite funny earlier, there were some people trying to pledge troll and it was just having a barely noticeable impact because the number of genuine pledgers was just jumping so quickly.

Just goes to show that they need to have more events and news like this if they want to have a shot at 10 million. When you don't have any news for a long time, its gonna hit rock bottom.

No status but I would guess they will open it up eventually. Perhaps that is the next update...
 
Just saw this update! Psyched to see things rolling again.

But can anyone explain why Awesome Japan had to apologize for the Twitch thing? Was it a total fiasco or something?

Audio was messed up, and their guy was crazy.
 
So much progress. Nice feeling watching the Kickstarter. Kinda like when it was first announced and we were all watching it go to 3 million.
 
Just pledged $60 for the PS4 physical version! I would love it if they could (I am sure they can't) make a special edition which includes Shenmue HD 1 + 2. Sega come on :)

honestly, the'd better: it's not just all the post-KS funding (super important) but seriously, who waits so long on a big revenue stream? possibly worse than the dragging their nuts on all the easier NPC/in game etc rewards that brought in so much today
 
I wasn't very confident about this point, but I have to admit : PS4 digital copy provided a nice boost at Kickstarter.
It's great.
