Also we just had a discussion about people in the background in the stages but man that Brazil stage looked fucking empty without anyone in the background. It felt like a ghost town.

About the emptiness, just remember the first stage debut.

That Brazil stage looks lifeless. Could have made a stage by the beech with some babes or something.
I would have loved to see the waterfall stage from A2 versus that sheep stage. Tekken 6 still has the best sheep stage. We'll probably get 7 years of people picking training stage, so I won't complain too much.

PR Rog has gotten bodied repeatedly by Filipinoman who is a great Rose player, but far inferior to Luffy overall. I don't think Rog stands a good chance. Looking at the US roster I'm not sure who does. None of the top 10 or so US players plays characters like Yun, Yang, or Seth at a really high level. I think Rufus counters Rose, but Louffy has been beating Justin and Ricky lately so even that counter is no longer a counter. If it's a best of 1 then anyone can win, but if they want to be more legit and make it 2/3 or something like that then I can see louffy just running a train on the US.
As for the SFV beta, I hope it's possible to make a lobby and set it to private. Basically act like you're going to invite someone but don't actually do it so you can practice and try to figure stuff out before playing in real matches. I doubt this will be the case but I hope it is. If not then I'll just fire up my torrent client and start seeding like 20 different torrents so no one will try to play me.

Reading the stuff Combofiend posted, I don't think you can manually choose to do training mode. In the beta you'll probably have to do it like the OGs, arcade style! I am starting to doubt that it has anything else than quickmatch, i.e. no private matches or lobbies even.

The low shoulder cannon hitbox is the explosion on the ground, so the laser isn't meant to connect and will appear to pass through the opponent.
