Wither it was pandering or goofiness, they can still communicate that with a better designed outfit. Long as she keep the mask and the twintails, R. Mika's fans should be fine.

For anyone who actually watches Japanese and American wrestling, R. Mika is actually pretty dang authentic. You don't have to like pro-wrestling. You don't have to like R. Mika.

But, don't act like R. Mika is some completely bonkers, out-of-left field sex-doll, with no basis in anything. Her foundation is pretty obvious for anyone who watches wrestling.
 
man capcom is putting all the fan favorites in sf5 and yet we have no news of haggar being in the game. please capcom that's all i ask for.

People can complain about "pandering" but nothing Mika does is really out of line with what costumed wrestlers, East or West // Male or Female, do. Just say you don't like the design and leave it at that. I'd just want an update mostly for the progression issue I was talking about. I'm not going to call it lazy to not update the designs at all but it "feels" lazy and that's a bit of a turn off. It would be a squandered opportunity (I'm of course assuming they would do it well).
 
I was fine with R. Mika being the pandering, cheesecake character because that's entirely what she is. However, now that they've upped Chun-Li and Cammy's cup sizes dramatically it'll just seem more like the same.

The Capcom audience has very delicate sensibilities unless a character is an old beloved veteran. I thought this was obvious by now.

Your example is from a game that came out like 4 years ago though. Things have changed a lot in the past few years with that kind of stuff.

And JC is x 1000000000 worse than R.Mika, Native Americans are my favourite FGs stereotype. At least they brought back Michelle, but Harada has gone full anime so Julia will be JC from now on and Michelle will go back to nothing same with Jun and Kunimitsu.
