It seems they really redesigned Ken, his V-Trigger is a quick step that's kind of like his step kicks but a little different apparently. He's going to be very different from Ryu and more aggressive like his playstyle has been.

It's short for shotokan karate, which supposedly is the style of fighting ryu and ken practice. It's used for anyone who fits into the gameplay elements of having a fireball, DP and tatsu, with the same inputs.
