I saw that that there are more weapons you could equip? Like guns and melee?

The game apparently has third-person shooter mechanics where you can zoom in to fire shots. Seems to be seamlessly integrated with melee, and you can switch between the two at will.

I had no idea Platinum was making a Transformers. I guess I've not been paying attention.
I loved the last game of theirs that I played (MGRising) so I'm pretty excited to watch this video when I get home (Cant now :[ )

Yes they were fantastic Transformers games made by people who clearly liked the series. I had great fun and I even liked the art style.

Transformers and MGR have the same director, which has me hyped as fuck (Rising is my favorite Platinum game)

I actually had an opportunity to meet Peter Cullen at the Comic Expo in Calgary this year. He's a pretty damn amazing guy and very nice.

I really like how you seamlessly switch AI partners during the progression of that stream. If they can capture the team dynamic through the campaign with those combat mechanics + big set pieces = drool
Looks similar to Bayonetta's? Enemies seem to leave energy of different colours, you probably get items by mixing and matching certain amounts of each.
It's Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Grimlock, Sideswipe and Wheeljack and no Decepticons, but there may be some unlockable skins/characters.

Im wondering how the bosses are all going to be? Is Devastator, as the name would imply, the boss or are we going to see more? Im wondering what the depth of the game will be. Either way, I'm ordering it.

Rising actually has a bit of this with the RPGs and stinger missiles. Interesting for them to push it even further.

Like every time I see more footage my mouth waters. I fucking love the way transformation is implemented, both in combos and in neutral gameplay. The gameplay footage of Prime in robot mode beating up some cons, then transforming into a truck and bombarding them from afar was just too good.

My man. The more confidence that Activision has with letting P* handle the IPs they have the rights to make games for, the higher the likelihood the TMNT will actually get a GOOD video game again, as opposed to more shovelware crap.
Why do people think it doesn't? We've seen cutscenes and boss battles and the devs said the story is written by a Transformers comic writer.
