Smith feels like Smith pretending to be in a superhero movie.

I feel like Will Smith has reached a point where it's hard not to see "Will Smith" instead of the character he's supposed to be. Kinda like Geroge Clooney. And I don't mean that as a knock against his acting or anything like that. Just that when you see his face and/or hear his voice, you automatically think "hey, that's Will Smith".

I was a bit mixed with the original trailer leak, but I'm not really feeling it to be honest. I feel like the lack of buildup in the DCU may be what's causing that for me though, since we're jumping straight into things like this rather than getting to know a lot of the characters first.

Harley being in Supermax isolation like she's Hannibal Lecter is stupid.

Looks OK, better than the grainy leak. Still a lot of complaints about it, Will Smith looking miscast and the lack of Harley voice are notable ones though.

I really like that they're doing this is film, and I like some of the directors previous work but I'm just not feeling it jive just yet. Not sold on Leto either- don't know how anyone could be considering how brief it is, but the look is interesting, and I'm willing to be optimistic.
