I'd prefer that dead Robin is Jason and we still get Dick as Nightwing and Tim as Red Robin
Harley is the one I'm most concerned about. Played right, it should be the story of an abuse survivor who's a little messed up but trying to piece herself back together. But if they sexualize her abuse like you said or make her too submissive without framing it as wrong or harmful, they're gonna screw the pooch on this one.
Because there's a difference between the character (Joker) sexualizing torture and the movie doing it and I don't really trust WB to make that kind of nuanced decision. Kind of like how some rape scenes are set up in a way that makes the viewer focus on how sexy the character being raped is instead of their experience of it. It's gross.
Never. I also hope they skip Babs as Batgirl and have Kate Kane as Batwoman instead.
I don't even register those two legacies on the same wavelength.
I'd be happy with Steph batgirl though.
I just doubt we'd get both so I'd rather have Kate on screen than another chance to have Babs as Batgirl.
I'd take Steph but I don't think she'd be that much different a character than Carrie would be.

Which reminds me again about casting. Nicholson for Joker, many probably didnt mind that. But Michael Keaton for Batman? Dude that was Mr. Mom, Beetle Juice and in Gung Ho?

That would make a lot of sense, and it ties in nicely to the Robin suit in BvS; in both cases the Joker would have written HAHAHAHA/etc. on Robin. Doubt they would do it though.

I'm excited just even for when promo begins with all the cast members. Seeing The Avengers actors do interviews together was fun.
Not saying they wouldn't do it but it would be weird if Robin was older than Batman( Leto is 43 and Affleck is 42)

I wouldn't mind this at all. I get that Joker's past being left ambiguous is a huge draw to the character, but I wouldn't mind it for the DCCU.
The old Joker captured Robin, tortured him until he becomes insane. Robin somehow killed the original Joker, thus breaking the code and in doing symbolically killing himself, leaving him without an identity and just so hateful and crazy enough that he takes on the persona for himself. That'd be cool.
But... I also really liked Under the Red Hood and would like the solo Batman to adapt it for the big screen.

If you mean the Leto was formerly Robin rumor, not that many legs. That line about good guys staying that way in the BvS trailer may lend some credence to the theory but not a lot since it could mean everything from Two Face to dirty cops and politicians. It also might not hold a lot of water particularly, if you like to believe Joker's grill exists mostly as fallout from Batman's reaction after Robin's death. Also, Batman would definitely be able to tell if Leto Joker was his former ward which would lead to believing he might go easy on him so if the grill is just damage from overtime, Bats has essentially been knocking the teeth out from his former partner in crime stopping. Of course the teeth thing could also just be Joker's own aesthetic choice as well which at that point means anythings possible.
Yet I'm drastically prefering what I'm seeing in SS.

Leto being a former Robin doesn't make sense. As pointed, he is old or about the same age as Batman. And two Jokers at the same universe? Batman would have to deal with two Jokers at the same time?
The youtube link of the trailer will probably reach 20 millions views in a couple of days, I know WB was pissed but they had to be ecstatic over the response for this trailer, even with the leak to have that many views for a film that doesn't have household names besides Joker and Harley is pretty big.

Yeah I can't imagine them doing anything but salivating at those numbers up at WB. Hoping the exclusive trailer thing might be done for them. Or at least releasing it an hour afterward more often.
