I'm not sure about the same deals, but I imagine we'll get some decent ones. Honestly, your best bet would be to sign up for a trial of both, and then be ready to do some crazy fast math to see whether or not it's worth getting it from .com and paying for shipping, for getting it from .ca with free shipping. It's usually pretty equal, though.

So I brought a gift-card for 15 dollars and they took the money off my card. No confirmation though. I would be astonished if they actually honored this shit haha I would be so excited.

What do you guys think the odds are that Ghibli movies will go on sale for this? I remember them being on sale one or two Black Fridays ago. Really wanna pick up the ones I'm missing.

This is actually exactly what I'm looking for.
I have no clue what I'd even want from this Prime Day thing, yet I'm up looking for deals. I guess a new PS4 controller would be nice. Wouldn't mind Dark Souls 2 SotFS on PC I guess.
The bigger question is why go to all the trouble? If they had access to the backend with the CC data, just steal everything you can and run. If they only had access to pricing and some in the middle processing, it would likely be best just to leave your hack in there and steal all you can until it gets found out.

On second thought, I'd kill for this. Would love to get Princess Kaguya or Spirited Away for a good price. Could use Nausicaa as well I guess.

same here. my ps4 GPU just took a shit and I really doubt sony is going to cover it.. would love to get a new one cheaper.

I'm in the same boat. Girlfriend's birthday is coming up, and I know she'd love a PS4 for the Uncharted Collection when it comes out.
I bought one under guest.
Yea man, the chances are slim but ill stay up for about an hour after the sale starts and see if i can get lucky. Goodluck to you, hopefully we both can get extremely lucky lol.

At least in the Us, the movies have been on sale for the last couple days. Spirited Away is at its lowest recorded price ever.

I've got my personal favorites already. Picked up Totoro, The Wind Rises, Mononoke and Kiki last year. At this point it's mostly filling gaps.
I did really dig Poppy Hill when I recently saw it in a theater so I might look to grab that as well.

It's $2 off what I paid when I pre-ordered. Seems like just normal Amazon price dropping. A real sale on BR-D would be far cheaper for these, I believe. In the $10-15 range.
Same here! My favorites are all accounted for, including Totoro, The Wind Rises, Spirited Away, Arriety and From Up on Poppy Hill. I just want the rest (read: all) of them, because I've seen a handful and would love to own them.
It's been hovering around 20 for a while. I tend to wait until it at least dips close to 15 to bite.
That $16 Nausicaa is mighty tempting, though. If I see some more stuff tomorrow, may have to bite on that.

Yes, but the process takes awhile (entering your info and all that) so I recommend just signing up now, and cancelling after tomorrow.

Yep, you should be able to just change shipping speed on the pre-order once you have prime. If you cancel prime I think the shipping speed even stays the same, unless they changed that.

I'd like this. I'm not a movie collecting type person, but I love ghibli.
Here's what I have so far:
Princess Mononoke, Nausicaa, and Castle are my favorites. But I'm always up for buying more, especially if there's a good price.
I am expecting this to be a massive dissapointment and everyone to find out it was one big bag of nothing used to raise Prime subs.

Last years Amazon Black Friday was a giant pile of shit. They just price matched other retailers big deals (like BB, which had a great BF) and called it a day.
The only one of my favorites I don't own is Spirited Away. Got Kiki's as quickly as possible.
I'm actually going to see Mononoke in the theater tomorrow so some good Ghibli deals would be a good cap to the day, haha.
