I mean, that was great for me. Having all the great BF deals consolidated in one online store that offers free shipping and great customer service is perfectly okay with me. Saves me having to deal with going to the actual stores and dealing with the shitfest that is retail black friday.
 
If Amazon doesn't get me to buy at least one thing in this, they fucked up. All this build up has to have some decent payoff.

Is there anything really good I'm missing? I'm not up on all of them especially the post 2000sies ones. I saw Howl's and while it was a good movie in general, I found it to be my least favorite Ghibli movie (that I've seen).

Princess Kaguya was supposed to be really good (I'm a bad fan, I haven't seen it). I just saw From Up on Poppy Hill and found it super charming so I'd throw that out there. The Secret World of Arriety isn't amazing, but it's really cute. Worth a pick up if you can get a good price. There's always Grave of the Fireflies as well. Not a personal fav, but I see why a lot of people like it.
 
Sorry to ask a question that's probably been asked loads already, but I can't seem to see any mention of the Wii U bundle featured on the first post of this thread? Is it not a UK offer?

Grave of the Fireflies and Laputa Castle in the Sky are must watches. I think the rest of Ghibli's works are also excellent, but that could be up to your taste if you didn't particularly like Howl's.

I also recently really enjoyed Lupin III: Caste of Cagliostro, one of Miyazaki's earliest works. It was recently released on Blu-Ray. It is definitely distinct from the rest of Ghibli's storytelling in some ways, but to me, still retained a lot of the charm you find in some of Miyazaki's greatest works. I recommend it!

Oh, and like someone else said, Kaguya is a visual tour de force. It's definitely not my favorite Ghbili movie and it's a drastic departure from their usual style in many ways, but it's a movie worth having/watching, for sure.
 
i don't even have prime but i'm sticking around for the trainwreck. either they have some good deals and they sell out almost instantly or they have tons of shitty deals and people are disappointed. either way the hype mostly doesn't pan out.

i don't know how this will stack up with black friday though since they can't just price match everyone's deals but have to come up with their own.
 
I never buy things during these kinds of sales, but I figured the chance of seeing something I want at a low price was worth taking the Prime trial.

I'm not seeing anything remotely worth staying up for. I have a feeling this will all be for naught.

Whatever, I got Shadows of Mordor and Inquisition two days ago for 45 bucks from Best Buy.

Wow this is horrible lol. There is literally nothing worth a damn, i knew this was gonna happen. And whats up with everything saying 100% claimed? People actually want some of this stuff? lol.
