What categories would movies/blu rays be under? I'm on the lightening deals page but can't find anything under the categories list. Looked under electronics, toys, games etc. Can't even find that LOTR set there, only at the top of the page. I just want to be on the lookout for some blu ray deals.

Sure, but just read the listing. If it says new, damaged packaging, you are just buying a new item that is being resold through their Warehouse Deals subsidiary because it can't be sold as new. The one I linked was like that, and there are plenty more like it on different cards.

My thoughts on Prime Day thus far:

I dont know all the bugs but I remember reading the RNG is preset, meaning if you lose a fight due to a unlucky crit, start over, the fight will play out exactly the same.
thats where I am standing. Was gonna go back to bed after I saw the initial video game deals but it seems like theyre throwing some surprises in there.. I am really looking for Dragon Ball Xenoverse, so I guess I might as well wake up two hours earlier than usual..

Ehhhh... $34.99 is not worth it considering I have it on PS3 already...
