I picked up MLB 15 on PS4 Sunday for $17 at Best Buy and I'm loving it for the most part. I haven't played a Baseball game since the Gamecube era and I'm really enjoying it. The thing that most surprised me is that it's not too hard. Seems like so many baseball games over the years made it nigh impossible to get a hit or strike dudes out. This one is just right for me.

I am disappointed in the shitty 15fps framerates whenever they do those close-up cutscenes though. I really thought the game would perform better given the graphics aren't anything spectacular.

I was thinking the same thing when I first started playing. I am in Double-A ball right now, and was on a hot streak. Top players in RBI and home runs. I was thinking that this game was maybe too easy, but now I a fighting a cold streak so it has made things quite interesting!

Ah, I think it was disappointing but I'm not mad. Just, whatever. It's not like I spent much time checking it out. I went to their page, looked, saw nothing interesting, and was like, oh, it wasn't that great. I mean if I had spent time and effort I might be upset but its' not like I waited in line or even drove somewhere to go look at the deals.

I think who really got trolled was the other retailers who decided they had to compete with this. Those guys I could see being upset (but it's not like Amazon has a duty to be fair to them ;) ).

It's Valve's fault. Steam sales have set the bar so high no sane company can choose to follow.

Nah, it's Amazon's fault for comparing it to Black Friday. It raised people's expectations. I'm not too buttmad though. I was only looking for a few niche items that I didn't expect to go on sale. It does upset me that those few items actually increased in price this week though.

No more PS4 games on UK Amazon right? Internet has been down for the last 4 hours while they fixed it.

I'm more disappointed than mad, though part of it is Amazon's fault for hyping it so much, considering they had freakin' TV commercials (one could argue it was to get people to just join Prime than the sale itself) & comparing it to Black Friday (though I guess they were aiming for quantity over quality).

It didn't help Amazon didn't even let you preview sales beforehand, especially considering you need a Prime membership to even get some of these deals.

Damn.

The sales seem very disappointing. And I was going to resubscribe to Prime yesterday. #NOPE
I didn't fall for the trap.

Is there a better option worth looking at?

I'm interested in the Alienware if it's under $300.

I picked mine up for $388. I also picked up extra ram.

Originally the base model was $550 so anything less than $400 is worth it considering it runs equal to or better than ps4 and xbox one.
