I love the Prime service even after the price hike. It's saved me a bunch, there's no doubt about it. But Amazon's sales, even black Friday, have left a lot to be desired lately. Maybe I'm just expecting too much.

This is how the big ticket items always are. You have tens of thousands of people clicking at the same time, all of them 'the second it goes live'.... not everyone is going to get it.
