You either die a Rope Guy or live long enough to become a Panda Guy,

Man, looking at some of their pictures, I wish I could hang out with the cast. They seem to be having a lot of fun with this film. Should make for some great on screen chemistry. It reminds me of the Avengers cast and how well they get along.

What if it's Rope Guy under the Panda Man mask?

the twist is that slipknot lives at the end of the movie.

Slipknot outlives the rest of the Squad, gets promoted to the Justice League and gets his own solo film, animated series and official merchandise. Little Timmy will dress up as Slipknot instead of Batman for Halloween just like all his friends.

Bravo Nolan.

29 million views to BvS' 31. Holy shit.

That's impressive; especially compared to the view count of the initial trailers for GOTG and Ant Man.

For all the talk of Slipknot being 'offed' in the first reel I think there is one major piece of casting that just screams 'cannon fodder'.

I have a feeling that
Common (playing the Tattooed Man?)
will basically have a glorified cameo playing the character who gets blown up first (or whatever) as a warning to the others. He wasn't featured in the trailer, the THR photoshoot or (IIRC) at SDCC itself.

He and Ayer have worked together in the past so I can definitely see the director bringing in a 'name' to play the first of the team to die. I also think it's worth noting that the production title of SS is 'Bravo 13' suggesting that there are plenty of other characters to get got during the film.

In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if all the characters that we've seen in the SDCC trailer make it to the end of the film.

If you're talking about El Diablo, he does show up in the trailer, and he will die in a blaze of redemption.

I'm not sure about this, maybe I'm one of the few that's not crazy excited for this movie. I guess we'll see what happens when it comes out. I thought the same for The Dark Knight when it came out and it ended up being one of my favorite movies of all time...

I like seeing this, I was a little afraid the non A-listers (Squad, Shazam, Cyborg) would get ran over, especially since some of them have had barely any media exposure in the past decade.

If it helps, Ayer has said the movie is more humorous than it appears. I think it will end up being a dark comedy.

You know, I never really paid much attention to the grills so I didn't notice that he still has a lot of his normal teeth and some I guess originally broken (by Batman?) and capped.

Fantastic news. This is what the movie would excel in. Dark humor but not overdone or like Marvel's movies please. Both types can coincide.

Sorry, I really hate the look of this Joker. Can't stand it. I'll probably still see the movie but...just ugh. Puke city.

I think the grill actually really works, especially if it's because Joker's had his teeth kicked in numerous times by Batman and the GCPD.

The tattoos are just such a misfire though.

Are you not particularly familiar with the Joker...?

Nicholson's Joker was so ridiculously cartoony that he never particularly came off as really unsettling. Entertaining, sure, but that was it. His creepiest moment was reciting a poem to Vicky Vale as he leaves her apartment, but then he finishes it by pretending to be an airplane and making a propeller/borderline fart noise..

Ledger's Joker was fascinating, but I don't recall any moment where it came off like he was really enjoying the act of taking lives. I mean he obviously wanted to, but every time he held a knife to someone's face, while it was always tense as shit, but it also always felt like he was still thinking about the broader perspective or the bigger picture. Even the hostage video, the most fucking freaky thing in that movie, is still him making a larger message to Gotham about Batman, about Harvey, about the mob, etc.

This looks like he's straight-up getting off at the idea of hurting someone.

Word. I will say though that what Jacker did to his former girlfriend was definitely creepy. But yeah, the other Jokers would just kill you. This guy? This guy looks like he'd just have fun torturing you.

Excuse me, I wanna drive.

I like this job. I like it.

Ledger talked about how killing a guy with a knife if better than killing a guy with a gun because you get to find out who a person really is. His interpretation of the Joker perfectly sold a crazy guy to me.

This video made me wanna watch TDK again.
Damn it.
