I like yours better, I was less optimistic:

I feel like we'll get Juri and two more SFIV characters (one from Alpha and another from either 2 or 3).
It might depend on who they're bringing back. E.g. Sakura with Karin, Cody/Guy with Haggar/Maki, Sagat with Go (wishful thinking ).

If this is years after Alpha 3, she's bound to have given up on becoming a star and went back to normal life(hopefully) outside of street fighting. We have enough flamboyancy in the cast.

I don't mind the pigtails, but giving her a new outfit would help making the character look less stupid. A female grappler is something I would originally enjoy a lot (love grapplers), but R.Mika's design is just too much for me (and it's not even because of the fanservice). A classy outfit, as suggested above, would be an interesting direction for new Mika.

I guess I just don't see much difference between skin tight clothes vs. skin showing. I like sexy designs/costumes, but the boob window on both outfits looks terrible to me. If there was going to be a redesign I'd like to see something very different while keeping the same theme.

if it's not juri, it's guile. I really think this game needs *a* guile, but the slot should go to Juri. I don't care for her much but she might be pretty sick in SFV depending on what they do with her. her animations alone would be awesome to see. i think the cast could use an extra female, too.

Cinematic Characters; like Mortal Kombat has Predator and Freddie Kruger and stuff. I feel like this isn't likely since WB owns a ton of properties, and Sony doesn't really have any original IPs in the cinematic world, do they?

Other Companies' Videogame Characters; SNK licensed Terry Bogard to some Chinese fighting game right? It would be nice to see characters like that cross worlds again. Nintendo has a bunch with third parties like Ryu himself, or Solid Snake, or Sonic. Maybe with that character poll, and staggered release time, they could secure Arika's SFEX characters like Skullomania?

I don't see it happening, although cameos of characters from other CAPCOM fighting games would be neat. Maybe someone from Rival Schools.

I'd bet Money on Urien and Alex being on the initial roster. Also, yea Birdie is a Street Fighter 1 character, so there goes that.

I realize Birdie is an SF1 character, but if you look at the SF5 website it cites him as being from Alpha 1/2/3.

Yeah, considering Siliconera's track record, the fact that they are a site with a reputation to up hold and the fact they said it was confirmed by thier sources, I think the chances of it being true are pretty high.

I am inclined to believe this is right.

...You do realize that Karin's entire motivation is her weird obsession with Sakura...right?

She doesn't really have a "wierd obsession with Sakura" she lost to her prior to SFA3 and had to beat her due to her family expectations.

She also had issues with Shadaloo conflicting with her family's business so that wasn't the only reason she was there.

Yeah, I think I would go with this one.

Did they become good friends later on? Sakura had few comments about Karin in her victory lines.

They were pretty friendly in SFA3 itself, and yes Sakura did name drop her in 4, IIRC it was something about texting her back.
