Ok a few things.

So since there wasn't a teaser at the end of the trailer I'm going to assume the next reveal will be of 2 characters. I'm also going to assume it'll be at TGS and it'll be two female characters. I'm guessing it'll be Karin and someone. I also think that the returning character from SF4 will definitely be Juri now since Necalli has seismos and the roster need more females. My guess on the next 8 characters are;

Mika
Karin
Juri
the 3 new characters.

That said Ken Bogard has said that any list with Mika on it is wrong and his word has be 100 percent accurate. Perhaps he was joking.

Gamescom is the first week of August. If it's anything like Super, Ultra and SFxT, Capcom will have a massive SF5 presence there; bigger than Comic Con, E3-scale. Am sure the next one will come for then! Or a reveal of what the story mode stuff is gonna look like - but certainly reveals in Germany!

Well, characters like C.Viper, El Fuerte, Blanka, Seth are almost always hated.

Because she breaks the pace of a Street Fighter match by turning everything into a vortex, and that's basically all there is to her gameplan since her footsies are pretty bad.

In a nutshell she's female Blanka/El Fuerte and no one likes to play against that shit specially since she also has zoning on top of that. If she returns I wish they'd make her more like her MVC version which is more traditional rushdown.

I don't think I've ever read any complaints about her concept and design - aside from her weird SF4 boobs that is - it's just how she plays in SF4 that rubs people the wrong way.

I definitely rember some grumbling about her appearance and how she belonged in an SNK game when she was first revealed, but it's largely died out over the years.

That's my take on it coupled with the wording on his Mika tweets - stuff like "I think, maybe" etc

Plus though he knew we had 4 newcomers, we only had info about 3.

You can't combo off of it (generally) and is more of a pressure tool if anything

I think if its a heavier styled DK it shouldn't be combo-able from unless you catch them in the air. But if its a Yun/Yang style one its understandable since they're moving very fast/lightly kicking vs a heavy drive.

I love the fact that Viper breaks the game. I like characters like that. Probably will be DLC in SF5.
I'm sure Juri will make it in and her V skill will be a mix of FSE and her omega changes. Omega mode is really good with testing things for 5.

I'm currently of the mindset that Laura will be the only character to be tied to a stage (Brazil).

If it turns out the remaining new 3 characters are from those 3 nations, then no biggy.

If she makes it in, I kinda expect them to tone down her costume a bit - but not the overall goofyness. Think something like Tekken's Jaycee.
