It's funny to me when people say, "I don't understand why people enjoy XYZ character."

Like they can't conceive it in their puny little minds that somebody would enjoy and have opinions different from those they have. How can you not understand that people like different things? It's really that simple.

I LIKE Mika's design. I loved her normals. They were meaty as fuck. I love that she had more mobility and speed than a regular grappler. And how can you hate on somebody THAT SUMMONS A WRESTLING RING?

Do an image search for Mika and you will immediately see why I don't want her in the game. Cammy is bad enough. If they put Mika in the game and she wasn't some fetish smut character id be all for it.

I think some people really dislike the comedy/fun angle of the SF universe and want it all to be about angry young males and serious ass-in-your-face female vixens.

Comedy and fun is more than fine but some things just don't fit within the guidelines of a mainline street fighter game. Alpha? VS game? Sure go nuts.

Mika literally has a move where she smashes her ass into the opponent's face.

I feel like we'll definitely have to wait til TGS for the next reveal. Then Maybe NYCC? It would make sense to reveal Alex there and the stage that Ken is standing in front of in his official artwork... if that is New York anyway. After that is the BSG, which we know will have a reveal. Mika is a "fetish smut character" but she's dressed the way she is because it suits her character and her fighting style, and it really isn't anything all that jarring, male wrestlers wear just as little. Why can't a female character show some skin without being called a smutty character?

There's something just intrinsically cool about Hakan's wife and I don't know what it is, but I'd totally play as her XD

Over Mika? I dunno about that, but as an individual she seems pretty cool to me. I think I just like her demeanour in the few pictures she's in, she looks pretty chill with a genuine but calm smile and with a hubby like that she's got to have some kind of sense of humour :3

el gado is just floating upsidedown in midair for rolento's wire trap super. the ring is fine.

plus being able to have a jump cut in the super cinematic and have the turnbuckle just be there already will look a lot less goofy than it sliding on screen in alpha 3.
