The Steam port?
Was the Steam version "exclusive to PS4"? No. So, clearly logic dictates that is not the one I meant.
The Steam port?
It'a not a matter of what they are calling it. A remake is completely different from a remaster. More clarification for any one else reading this than for you.
lolsome year-old dusty game.
Fine, remake. I fixed my original post. My question still stands.
Since they're being so transparent now about Rise of the Tomb Raider exclusivity, surely they'll want to tell us really soon about the Final Fantasy VII remake exclusivity... Right?

I still can't believe they did all this after 3.4 million sales in one month last time was deemed as "under performing"... and the game sold MOST on Playstation systems globally.
I really do wonder if this deal was made when folks thought the Xbox One was just going to keep the Xbox 360 momentum going and before the PS4 became a runaway success.
IIRC someone here had already verify that this was a last minute deal and that the game was a Multiplatform game from the start (Was it Kagari who said it? I can't remember...).I still can't believe they did all this after 3.4 million sales in one month last time was deemed as "under performing"... and the game sold MOST on Playstation systems globally.

You talking about the first game? I bought that on PSN a couple of years ago, had several 360 play through under my belt, I never witnessed anything that was considerably better.

One is a Microsoft exclusivity deal, the other is a Sony exclusivity deal. I wouldn't expect the same level of clarity until much further down the line, if we even get it pre-release

Exactly. Double standards.
And if so, I'm not a fan.
This leaves Quantum Break as the only reason (except maybe Recore) for me to buy an Xbox One. Can't wait for the PC version of that.

I don't remember about these specifically, but has Bioshock or Mass Effect been "enhanced" in their PS3 releases?

Actually they doubled down on that Silent Hill thing (minus the billions part)
Stealth edit: Make that tripled down https://twitter.com/SirLarr/status/624256649872551937
Alan is Remedy's IP while QB belongs to MS. It's a little different but I think MS will put it on PC.Every one of Remedy's titles has made it to PC before, right? Unless I'm overlooking one.
They already described it on stage as "first on playstation" so you can easily take a guess that it will be out later on other platforms, maybe pc, maybe Xbox One, maybe both - pretty much the same as tomb raider was.
Coming closer to the remake's launch, maybe they will start talking about it.
Or maybe they will just out a PC or Xbox version at Gamescom; it's entirely up to them and their plans for that product that they have with whoever they partner with, such as Sony in this case. It doesn't have to be any particular way

Correct me if wrong.
Hehe. What about the Black Ops 3 PS4 players beta testing the beta? Tee hee.Good news for the PS4 players:

They specifically said they'd give us the information on how long FFVII remake is exclusive to PS4? Really?
Boyes describes the FFVII remake project as a partnership with Square. Hes not saying if they are helping fund it or really what the partnership entails, just that the game is that it is making its console debut on PlayStation 4 first.
In fact, Boyes said gamers will know how long the PS4s timed-exclusivity lasts relatively soon. Well be disclosing that to everyone before the game comes out, so everyone will know.
Nomura: Youll be able to play it first on the PS4, thats for certain. After that we still havent thought about it, so its undecided. Square Enix will be releasing a crop of titles for the PS4 in the future, so we hope that with the support of these titles it will help push the hardware and boost the industry.
If Final Fantasy 15 comes out holiday 2016, I can see that hurting sales of Tomb Raider. I would be smart for Square to do a summer release instead.

Recore is vaporware at this point, just a pre-rendered movie.

I really don't know if Quantum Break is strong enough to sell consoles. I hope it sells well - Remedy deserves it.You're correct but I doubt MS would put it on PC they still need exclusives for Xbox One.

lol
The amount of money MS would need to give Square for that...
I think they paid more than enough for this exclusivity window, and most likely it will not perform as well as they hoped.
Lol hell naw, I'd be dying of laughter if it even gets mentioned.I hope it doesn't take time out of Sony's E3 presser next year.
