As others said, it probably goes through projectiles and def can cross up in close and after a knockdown. How do you guys feel about V Trigger wins not having any kind of extra pizzaz? I'm pretty sure I don't want a splash screen, but maybe the aura dissipating or something would be pretty cool.

What's the point though since it has 0 follow up?

Keep in mind none of these characters are complete, so there may well be follow ups intended for her V-Skill, though I hope not because as I said a few pages back, she feels the most OP to me. You shouldn't get in the mindset of thinking of V Skills or V Triggers as combo tools. Some of them will be, some won't. Some will probably be purely defensive.

It's not going to work. They royally screwed up giving beta access to preorders, or they don't care at all about whether or not the preorder people get to play before release as they're only doing stress testing.

I hope Capcom proves me wrong but I doubt it.
 
4:35PM: We have not been able to get the matchmaking fixed, and will be resetting the servers shortly. We are aiming to turn them back on at 5:00PM. We will post again when they are turned back on.


So maybe after this reset I can have some hope getting in

it's over bro

it's been the same shit for 2 days straight, either it's royally fucked or the solution is too expensive for them to bother. anything besides more of this bullshit will honestly be a real surprise at this point but it won't undo the salt
 
Disconnected but that was a good run.

Matchmaking was ok for me. There was a dry period but I got a good five or six matches in.

It's not even that. Their matchmaking code simply doesn't work. People are BARELY getting into matches. Now from what I've heard in-game it feels pretty good, but connecting to people? Forget about it.

Just got disconnected after a half hour and got to finally play one match. I won with Nash. :)

That MP, LK, HP target combo he has is so gnarly, love it.
 
Damn, made it to 50 mins this time before getting kicked out of game. Why does it do that? Has happened 3 times, this is my longest session yet though. Got one match in 30 minutes and no others tho, that's odd.
 
still haven't gotten in once, but since there isn't a dedicated offline portion and I don't really play fighting games I'm probably going to get absolutely bodied anyway
 
Yeah finally got kicked off. Man Charlie is so much fun! Was able to play for a couple of hours but only got 4 matches in.
 
Damn just got kicked at least I got some matches in. I'm really liking Nash hopefully it doesn't take too long to get back in. I didn't know you combo into Nash's v-skill

I'm glad some folks have been able to get in play (not talking about the streamers with their apparent white glove treatment) but honestly I've been at this for hours and got in ONE time for 5 minutes.

So yeah... salty

Most of NA isn't having much luck FYI, so don't feel bad
 
Ha, I also just got disconnected, got to play 5 matches though. Won one of them and lost the other 4. I'm not surprised though, since I just started getting into fighting games again. Otherwise I was just messing around in training, trying to get moves out consistently. I had a lot of fun though, I really like it so far.

I also didn't really notice any lag in the matches I played.
 
Disconnected after about an hour and a few matches which were a bit laggy. Ryu's damage and counter crush is crazy. He feels pretty different from SF4.
