As I said, and will not say again, the previous posters (not that many) had some confusion over the motives and logic of this story. The end.
One hopes it was done for purely altruistic purposes.

Maybe. Its just the way they dressed up as characters in an upcoming movie which the kids have near to 0 knowledge about, make the whole thing looks more like a promotional stunt. It will probably more understandable if the characters were in some costumes as characters which will have inspire or appeal to the kids. I know i am being cynical here but thats what i feel.
I see no reason to think it wasn't. It's not like the cast took a publicist with them to the hospital. The hospital put up some pictures to their facebook page and it was turned into a news story.

This thread just adds to the evidence that for certain people no matter what this movie is some sort of affront against God.
They're the new Ghostbsuters, they're women, Paul Feig is a talented director, this movie has a good chance of being good, this is a wonderful gesture that was likely very much appreciated by those they visited, fucking deal with it.

I keep forgetting there's going to be this new one, so my mind went to the original 1984 film, & when I saw the picture, it took me a moment to remember "oh, right, there's going to be an all female Ghostbusters movie, forgot about that".

Yeah someone in another thread photoshopped the strips so they only appeared on one arm and it made the suits look much better.
