It makes me sad that I'm only getting to play until the end of October. Don't think I'll even get to touch MGO3 with all this FOB stuff. :(

In a way I am kind of happy that MGO was delayed a month (on console) so I can get as much out of the FOB's and Single Player. So much to do, explore, and experiment in this game. Kojima and Kojima Productions really out did themselves.
 
Just saw it. Oh my god I cant wait! Stealth camo? Imagine the possibilities. Lots of new locations also
 
At 14:38 they show Mother Base Coins, I wonder what they are and how you get them.

Since they're sort of a separate currency, it makes me think they could be microtransaction currency. Honestly, for a game with this much love, care and the unlimited amount of content that can come from it, I don't think I mind microtransactions. $60 does not seem like enough for a game of this scope since you're pretty much getting an unlimited number of Big Shells to infiltrate.
 
Wow what a demo. Just trying to imagine how much bigger and better that whole Mother base stuff will be if the modding community takes off on PC. Unreal man..this fucking game. I will probably spend hundreds of hours playing this. Gonna try to get all achievements :D

FOBs sound badass but it's not gonna go the way they hope at all. The cheap stuff will be found early - something like this would be nearly impossible to balance.

The animation is so good.

Balancing is a problem, obviously, but then that just means that you have to gitgud or get out as soon as possible. The objective is totally up to you and you can decide when you're done.
 
Yeah it could be battery life, this is probably like a very early prototype or something. Maybe we can further upgrade it with R&D unit.

Probably, I hope it won't last for too long when upgraded as that would make some things too easy I guess.

If I recall portable ops had a timer on the stealth camo although it was completely rubbish in that. Peace Walker on the otherhand required you to S rank a 5 red skull mission to obtain the stealth camo and if I recall at lv1 it would consume a lot of battery while lv5 makes it virtually limitless and can be used as long as possible. That is probably the case here as well.

Now that Stealth camo has been confirmed i'm pretty sure the infinty bandana is in as well.
 
Oh thank goodness, Kojima's hiding PT in mother base, Konami will never look there!

I would laugh out loud for real if P.T. was hidden in Mother Base and you had to do a few things to trigger the ability to play it as a hidden installer/executable for all "next-gen"/current-gen platforms as a fuck you to Konami from Kojima.

I also didn't know you could explore Mother Base. YES at this. I've been wanting that ability since Peace Walker.
 
So is invading bases random or will there be in game boards to choose from. I know when you get invaded you can return invade but outside of that can I choose someone to invade. I would love to have a gaf leaderboard of toughest bases to infiltrate.
