The percentage thing is something I've noticed a lot of Japanese devs do. Doesn't really mean anything. Splatoon was like 10% done when it was revealed according to the developer. Came out less than a year later

Also, they went up 5% from February.

They're progressing at something like 1% per month if I did math right, so if they continue at the rate they're going, development will be complete in June 2017.

I'm so confused how people are interpreting this when it seems rather he/she is not talking about the percentage left. It seems like what Stone Ocean is implying is that they've only shown 10%, and that for having 65% complete they've shown very little of it.

Why would the implication be that they needed to show the percentage they haven't done yet?

Anyways...

While the development numbers are disappointing, it should be noted that they did allocate a lot of time earlier in the year for the Demo, and to listen to fan feedback too after the demo.

Hopefully they can cover more ground and not drag it for half a decade.

They started to mass produce assets and game content in Sept 2014. I could imagine having to model all of that stuff will take some time. These types of percentages tend to shoot up real fast or slow depending on where they are in development.
