The burning legion invades Azeroth. Fifth time's the charm.

There's a new Demon Hunter class for Night Elves and Blood Elves.

The new loot system involves you making an artifact weapon and upgrading it in various ways a la Destiny.

There are new class specific areas that are like garrisons, but the people are all members of your class.

The setting is basically the various things people have asked for over the years (Broken Isles, Tomb of Sargeras, Emerald Nightmare, return of Illidan, Alleria, Turalyon). The plotline of Draenor actually merges in since Guldan and Khagdar are still there from that timeline.

Not really excited.

Mainly because it's the same stuff we've been largely doing since day one. Demons have always been around and we've been smacking them around for ages. Doesn't help after the last expansion I just can't take any new threat serious. It's like, oh the legion, yeah we smacked them around a few times now. They can play the "never before have we been on the brink of destruction so greatly" card before it's like yeah okay, whatever. Will the Legion go down like the Iron Horde did as if they were nothing.

That and god almighty the pandering.

Saying my character is a great hero/leader is kinda funny when I know everyone else is getting the same spiel in the end.

Artifact weapons sounds like there are no more weapon drops past 100...

They'll also have to gate them in some way, otherwise people will just max them out immediately and then they have nothing left to look forward to for the rest of the expansion.

Seems like a very odd design choice after they gutted talent trees, to attach them to gear that you'll have to keep on you at all times, and visible unless you transmog it away.
