fatebringer is a legendary from VOG...you can't get that from Xur...ever.

Yes, you just have to farm quite lot of PoE and you should get there.

I bought mine the first time and only other time it went on sale like 10 months ago. Got it as a drop too. Easily the best weapon for PvE. Enjoy it before the nerf.

Last year, shortly after launch, I walked up to Xur and checked what he had. And he was selling the Gjallarhorn. I had seen it in pictures before and thought "man, that is one sweet looking rocket launcher! I'll buy it".

And so I did.

And thats how I got my horn 1 year ago

I didn't have the DLC for a while on PS4 and by being an active player I still had more than enough coins to buy stuff from Xur every week since you get coins from strikes, random events, breaking down blue items, faction and daily public event care packages, etc etc.

It's one of only two rockets in the game with both tracking and proximity detonation. Also has high velocity and blast radius, and Wolfpack Rounds means it's the only RL that can kill a full-health Bladedancer. It's a top-tier PvP choice assuming you can spare the Exotic slot.

And even though it's getting nerfed, I'm sure it'll always be a useful PvE Exotic despite not being the overwhelming 100% best strat everywhere like it is now.

Didn't know it had hidden proximity detonation. wow, that changes things. Is it comparable to Grenades & Horseshoes or does it have less range?
