If Persona 5 releases in NA this year, I don't expect it to be announced at a press conference of any sort, but just a random PR drop on random day.

Apart from that Gameplay to all those huge exclusive Sony Games coming out in 2016 (or atleast to those that come out in Q1 and Q2)
Oh and since we know that new infos on FF7Remake will come out in Winter - PSX would be the perfect event for that

It probably won't be long after the collection's release, UC4 will be out before the end of March, so the beta will likely be at the end of October or in November, otherwise, there won't be enough time to use the data from the beta to implement into the final game.

Don't know if I should laugh or feel sorry for them. They're really upset at PS4's success.
That's like 15 miles away, not 2. You can take the BART from the airport and you're looking at $9 each way approx.
Also holy crap why the hell are you flying? Take a Megabus for $1(If you're quick enough to get the $1 fare). It's only a two hour bus ride and You'll probably get there quicker after you factor in all the airport crap anyway.

It's really two extra events because MS doesn't do a conference at TGS. MS only does E3 and Gamescom. Sony does E3, TGS, PGW, and PSX.

Dunno how expensive your flight is (from Sac? You don't wan't to/can't drive or take Amtrak? [to RIC -> Bart to SF] ) but maybe check out Airbnb for a place in the city? I just checked for the dates of the conference and filtered for private rooms and entire apartments and nice places are popping up as low as $60/night in the city, and some a few blocks away from Moscone. You could easily chip away at that travel cost.

And while it's not necessarily a bad thing, from a "surprise" perspective, frankly, the amount of content MS has leans more towards one conference's worth of stuff, not two. For the past 3 Gamescom, they've only had one new game announced at their European show.
Just be warned that if Jaffe turns up again there's bound to be cussing all over the fuckin' place.
Seriously look at Megabus for getting there. You can't buy December tickets yet but just check regularly and you'll be able to snag a ticket for $1 pretty easily it seems. Under $10 no problem.
The bus gets off at Caltrain station which is a 15 minute walk from the convention center. Look for a hotel in the Union Square-Nob Hill area.
Also don't worry about traveling. It's scary when you haven't done it before and there's a lot you have to think of and there's only one way you'll get better at it: experience.

I once took Megabus from Toronto to Boston for $11. They Greyhound I took to Toronto(I live 90 minutes away from Toronto) cost more :lol
Then at E3 2016 they announce that they've secretly been working with the original team to bring Chrono Resurrection to next gen.

VGA's were Friday night last year and Saturday night had a No Man's Sky concert that went late ish(10pm). Besides, GAF meetup will be Saturday night most likely, that's where you wanna be.

Like you said, with what went down at E3, I kind of find it hard to believe that that "Crash Bandicoot coming back to Sony" tease image ended up in that PS4 announce montage for no reason or just as an easter egg. Even the weird Hadouken Cabs teaser thing in 2013 indeed lead to Street Fighter.
Maybe they finally made a deal now that they are working together so much and the Playstation division of Sony is in better financial position than during the expensive PS3 days.
