It's weird. SSM DID mention last PSX that they will have a big presence at PSX this year, but Cory Barlog, on his Twitter said recently that his game is far out for a reveal right now. Not sure what to think. Maybe he's Jaffe-ing it here. Hopefully we get to see GoW4 in all its glory, or atleast an official confirmation of it.

PS4 won't be able to handle God Of War 4 graphics.
I just hope they compromise a bit with the visuals, but only so that we can get unlocked framerate if not locked 60. Needs to be fluid as fuck, as well as look eyemelting.
I'll be glad to just see the end of the debates on a new setting/new protagonist etc

Haha. Same here. Sick to death of everyone chirping away on how they want the game to be a Goddess of War.
Play Heavenly Sword, Bayonetta or even the new game from Ninja Theory, Hellblade, if you want that.
Want a new setting/mythology though.

Would be awesome if this was shown, as well as a confirmed 2016 release date.
Out of all their E3 showings, this is the game that excited me the most. (Not counting UC4 as I already knew about it)

We're not seeing any proper gameplay footage of Shenmue III until E3 at the earliest. They've literally only just started development of it.
Possibly.
I expect Paris Games week to be more focused on Sony flaunting their relationship with European developers, so Quantic Dream and Ancel's WiLD will be no-brainers. I also expect other European 3rd party exclusives to be unveiled.
But yeah, 1st party games seem more poised for TGS and PEX.

If we look at SCEE's press conference in the past 2 years, from a 'big mainstream' perspective, it's natural to think why PSX could be a bigger deal :

My thoughts are exactly the same. We should expect new IP's and indies at PGW
I dont know if PSX will be bigger than PGW. PSX is more about core PlayStation fans and getting spotlight for smaller titles, and lots of Vita love. Maybe we get one big triple A fp reveal (Sony Bend is my guess).
If PGW seeks the same pattern than Gamescom it should be a bigger show for general audience. We should expect:

Gt7 (based on the market)
Info on Wild, Rime, Hunger, Hellblade, Shadow of The beast, Alienation

New stuff

I don't know about tickets but if you're in the US and you want to go, even if alone, do it. Heck I flew to Germany for Gamescom(from the UK) alone, stayed there 3 days, and I'd do it again.
You won't be alone. GAF will be there with you. Make new friends, that's what conventions are for.

GT7 will be saved for PSX I think.
EA gave away Mirrors Edge, NFS Most Wanted, and PvZ Garden Warefare for free PSX weekend.
Also Capcom's both gave away codes for Arcade Edition of SFIV.
I think that was a one time thing as a roundabout way for EA to 'apologize' to PS fans for the past year's treatment (Titanfall exclusivity, Garden Warfare and Peggle six-month exclusivity etc)
Would be cool if it happens again but I doubt it'll become a habit.

Ohhh those digital ones. I thought it was like new games for attendees or something. Capcom also gave those codes out when you made purchases at Capcom Cup, so I guess they had a ton of leftovers.

Maybe, but is such an important title for Europe, makes sense to showcase the game there.
But, its also a very important Playstation IP overall, and would also make sense to show it in an event that is consumer and hardcore fan based.

Peter Moore said that was was to celebrate the anniversary. No anniversary this year so they covered their tracks, lol.
But yeah that was really cool of EA. I love seeing the relationship between Sony and EA right now. There's some animosity, but there's a fuckton of money to make on the PS4.

Why no Vita love at PSX? We had a lot Last year. Im not saying big triple A titles, but support and at least a slot dedicated to the system. Just like 2014.

You know, as far as people predicting megatons goes it kinda helps.
Those things can never be announced again, and now footage of each isn't so far fetched (well, maybe the FF7 Remake).
So people speculating about new things will actually have to use their imaginations.
Or they'll just keep sayingCrash, Agent and Half Life 3.
Can i wish that all attendees of PSX will all get a free morpheus headset to bring home? To much wishful thinking?

I can't imagine what GT7 will look like...they always knock it out of the park, but when Drive Club, Project Cars, etc...already looks so close to photo realistic, I wonder how far GT7 will set the graphics benchmark. Forza 6 is looking amazing as well.
