Nah, thatgamecompany is self publishing their next game and is set to be multiplat


I also believe They might have a second project besides GoW. But its probably far off as god of War should be out either 2016 or 2017.

They might be doing like guerrilla, a smaller staff working on new IP and when GoW ships, everyone moves to the other project

Shannon is the studio director, when Shawn Layden said she'd be bringing the next big franchise to PS4 he meant the entire studio, but the context of that quote was women leading big studios, which is why he mentioned her by name. The creative director for that game is probably Barlog.

Although, they may have a second project in Pre-production.
 
Only about 90 minutes away from me, so I went for the 2-day pass and I'll just drive/BART over in the morning and evening and save myself the hotel cost. Kinda excited, I don't attend a lot of events like this. Plus it's the weekend before finals so that should be hilariously stressful.

It would be a nice way to reveal the PS1 native emulation in PS4:
-Hey, we heard you want to see Crash coming back! Here you have it, running in PS4! (and next year they announce in E3 that bought the IP and that there is a new one coming)

Really hope Sucker Punch announces Sly 5 at PSX. With the movie releasing next year it seems like a no brainer that a Sly title is ready for that release.

This thing is 4 months away and I'm so hyped. I was at the last one and had a blast. Hotel and tickets purchased and awaiting the days.

Yeah, but I dont think Sucker Punch wil be the one making it. They just got a whole setup of motion capture equipment. That usually means people, not animals.

But they could have two teams now.

I feel like Sanzaru would be the ones doing a Sly 5, while Sucker Punch continues with inFAMOUS/new IPs, if it happens. Hopefully we see it here for next year though.

ASAP. From my experience, flights to anywhere just get more expensive closer to the time. Don't forget this will be in December when people will start taking vacations and the demand and pricing to fly will continue to raise.

And same goes with hotel. So many special deals in Las Vegas all year long.

Ah, I see. Sorry, I'm from the SF Bay Area so I'm not aware of all this. How much is it to land at the San Jose airport and stay there? We can all take BART up or I can drive a couple people :)

BTW the GAF meetup count is now almost 30 people and we're STILL 4 months out, lol. Man... this is going to be cool!
 
Anyone want to share a hotel room? Seems like my buddy will not be able to come with me this time and the hotel prices are expensive for one person. I plan on staying two nights; Friday and Saturday nights, leaving Sunday night.
 
When booking a room with one of the hotel options Sony gives, does every one staying in the hotel have to be going to the event? My father want's to go to SF but obviously not PSX.

Anyone with info on this?

But no, you don't have to go to Psx to get a room. I'm sure the price would still be the same if you booked it through hotels.com

Lol yeah you guys are staying in the same room. There shouldn't be a problem.

There is no way for them to monitor this. They aren't verifying ticket purchases before allowing you to book or anything like that. "Discount" rates is often smoke and mirrors anyway. The Hilton was $159 on all the other sites for a day or two after PSX was announced.

I'd be happy with this. Sanzaru made a damn fine game. I'd be happy with them doing sly 5.
