I guess the joke is that the dude does some sort of skater trick as the good deed and is taken back.

The comic is far too long and poorly drawn for any of it to work.

Too long explanation:
The mascot is derivative of another mascot from Hokkaido, Marimokkori. Marimokkori is a combination of the word "marimo" which is a type of seaweed or pond moss or something that forms into a nice round ball which is found in Hokkaido, and "mokkori" which means "visible erection" or "pitching a tent" or something to that effect. The only connection between the two is the shared "mo" syllable.

Marimokkori was a wildly popular character like holy crap almost 10 years ago now. It spawned a number of knockoff characters that copied the smug grin and big boner.

Personally, I saw the monday pic referring to the return to the treadmill, and how it feels especially when you're still recuperating from the weekend's parties. I don't see how it's related to the workers being zombies.
