I will never understand what people expect when they watch trailers. Of course there will be some kind of new footage of the game so why get mad. It's not like Kojima would outright spoil major story plotline in a trailer.

There is a scene in the E3 Kojima trailer of the two of them riding in a jeep together.

And on top of that, Skull Face has TWO eyes.

GZ is a different story. Skullface might be a real character there and then, but Elegia trailer makes it very clear he isn't in a few scenes from TPP

Coming out Sept 1st. Same as consoles. GZ runs fantastic. I have no reason to believe why TPP wouldn't. If all else fails, request a Steam refund and get the PS4 version.

Man, this is THE trailer I have been waiting for!!!! The original music, the homage to the series' legacy, and a glimpse of what to look forward to in terms of the mechs as well as the story. It sounds silly but that shot at the end of everyone at Mother Base really sold me on how Side Ops can strengthen the story (seeing Quiet there, for example). Wow, man. This is the perfect launch trailer. Classic MGS trailer!

tbf though, no one besides BB seems to aknowledge skullface's presence.
Elegia trailer even suggests skullface being some kind of hallucination in a few scenes.

I don't really buy it. He was very solid in Ground Zeroes, the opening scene and he was interrogating people in the cassette tapes.

Also the one guy you extract was talking about him.

The torture was... beyond anything I could have imagined. They were breaking guys left and right. I came pretty close too, but don't worry Boss... I didn't tell them a thing. But... just one time... I was questioned by this other guy. He was different from the rest. I'll never forget him or what he said... it cut right into me. "Nothing to be ashamed of. Pain gets the better of us all. Let the words comfort you. Now, what did your boss tell you?" I nearly talked. This guy was... so weird. I... I know I saw his face. I... I just can't remember it.

The ultimate stupid looking Metal Gear..... complete with beast sounds and a whip? WTF? I get the series has hit the extremes of any shark jumping long before that moment, but that just is head scratchingly stupid looking/sounding.

I was on the fence about this game sense hating peace walker, that single scene changed this from a 2015 purchase to a "I'll play it when ever I get around to it".

It's the Good man Big Boss was dying away and becoming the villain --- that's what Skull Face represents.
